I want a Spawn reboot GOD DAMNIT!!!!

Who's with me here?

The 1997 is so dated and forgettable that I think Hollywood should reboot it. Yes folks, it is time. We need a Spawn reboot asap.

The CGI technology is there and there are plenty of young talented directorors that could take the helm imo. Right now I have no clue who my pick would be but there are a number to choose from.

As far as my choice to play Spawn, hands down its Anthony Mackie.

the dude is a fantastic actor and deserves better than just being a supporting actor. He killed it in The Hurt Locker, Half Nelson and Spike Lee's Sucker Free City.

I'm not even a big comic book guy but Spawn is badass and there is a lot of potential for a great franchise

I'm with you, dude. If Judge Dredd can do it, so can Spawn.

And how well did Dredd do again? $35 mil worldwide with a production cost of $50.
The original made $34.5 dom and another $78 foreign back in 1995.

You know is hot and getting remade? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Why? Because it made over $100 the first time and is still on tv for like the 20th cartoon reboot.

Yeah, I know, but I don't care. I like Spawn, so I'm all for it in theory.

Hey, Dare to dream buddy. I hope you get it. Maybe they should do it in stages. New cartoon on tv. Maybe a Broadway musical. Build a base. Good luck

No way. I am totally serious. 100% honest. Building a base is the way to go. Hollywood will make a movie out of any base.

How are we on Jamie Foxx playing Al Simmons?

Todd MacFarlane hinted that the actor would be an Oscar winner...

No worries. I tend not to me sarcastic and just come right out and say what I am thinking, but I totally understand your feelings. A lot of smart asses on here

This actually excites me.

The original Spawn movie is the worst movie I've ever seen. It looked like a really shitty computer game. With today's CGI and Jamie Foxx, this could be pretty dope.

It was my first real experience of watching a flawed super hero movie, now every super hero seems to have an aspect of that.

Sure the CGI sucked but so did Blade's and people can like that movie.

No studio would be interested in a R rated Spawn movie now, and a PG-13 one would have to be so watered down as to make it pointless.

I remember loving the original when it came out, but I don't remember much of the movie itself anymore since I probably haven't seen it since 98. Also, I was 11 back then so my taste in movies may not have been that great. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing them take another shot at it. The concept always seemed cool, but I'd agree with it being a tough thing to take on.
