It wont be a Twilight suck fest this year, and Rebel Wilson is hosting, and she is pretty comical... We may have an old school MTV Movie Awards this year!

Dare I say I am actually looking forward to these awards?!

Maybe I'm just out of the loop with this particular awards show, but aren't these exactly the nominations one should expect from the MTV Movie Awards? There's really nothing in there that reaches beyond its relatively narrow demographic. And were there really so few good villains last year that they had to nominate Marion Cotillard's laughably bad role in The Dark Knight Rises (which, by the way, probably counts as a spoiler just for her categorization there)?

Not bad. Not bad at all.

I bet The Avengers ends up winning favorite movie, even though I really wish it would be The Dark Knight Rises. Likewise, I'd bet that Channing Tatum wins best actor even though it should be Daniel Day Lewis.

Still it's rather odd that Twilight gets not a single nomination even Breaking Dawn Part 2 is, far and away, the best of the Twilight movies. I mean, it's still not even close to being great, but it's still very odd.

Considering how this show caters to teens so much, you'd think Twilight would be up for every single award.

Not bad. I don't watch this show anymore since it's become irrelevant, but not bad.

Nice batch of nominees, indeed. The MTV Movie Awards actually had stellar selections in the 90's and even within the 2000's until it started catering towards the twee audiences with Twilight.
