Took a tiny break from finishing up Mass Effect 2 again to play Godzilla: Unleashed on the Wii. It's freakin' awesome, a step up from Pipeworks' previous Godzilla games, which were already great, and then some.
Also tried a little bit of Zelda: Skyward Sword and thought it was great, but I'm gonna put it on the backburner while my wife plays it and I get ready for Mass Effect 3.

Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword

Thoroughly enjoying it thus far, has taken me a longer to get into this game than past zelda's due to the wii motion stuff, it's a tad more tricky when you're sat on your arse rather than standing up.

My first post in years on Joblo. Good to be back.

Just started "Deus Ex: Human Revolution". Not bad so far. I enjoy the hacking and stealth stuff.

Started playing WoW again. Experiencing Cataclysm for the first time. I gotta say so far it's awesome. The changes made to Azeroth were for the better. However, I am disappointed by how fast you level now. I was excited to level a a goblin rogue and revisit some of my favorite questing spots. Well, by the time you run through a few instances and do a quest here and there, you've out leveled the area you're in and a few other areas as well. I started playing on June 1st and I'm level 62 already (and that's without being completely focused on leveling).

Yup the fast leveling completely ruins questing now. I level all my alts through dungeons simply because of that reason. It's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario though. It's really hard to attract new players when it takes 6 months to get to max level.

I started playing Metro 2033 yesterday because I got in on sale for like 5 bucks. It's actually a surprisingly good game, the FPS shooter part is boring but the atmosphere and story are good.

Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo Gamecube.

I forgot how much fun and HARD this game is. 10 years later, it's a little easier with the help of 2 things I didn't have back then: Gamefaqs and YouTube.

Max Payne 3 (PS3) on hard difficulty with free aim. Love a good challenge. I also played Sleeping Dogs for a little bit. It was good, but not great.

Alternating between Orc Must Die 2 (pretty great but repetitive scenario - 85%) and Resident Evil : Operation Racoon City ( love the alternate storyline of the original games but the controls are sketchy and the AI is retarded , hopefully it will be better in MP than solo - 60%)

Torchlight II

it's like it's 1998 all over again and i'm playing Diablo II .... except in HD but with the cartoony WC3 graphics

Well , i had to say it : Torchlight is a diablo-clone.

But it's not a cheap-clone.

Of course , there's a lot of similarities : point-n-click , skill tree , urn-chest-dead adventurer , portal , 2.5D view , putting gem on your gear's socket , HP/Mana bubble , portal/identify scrolls , etc

Actually , it's like the Diablo II we wished we had back then. Well , considering it was created by ex-Blizzard employees i didn't expect anything less.

While the overall feeling is that of a clone , the game is in itself pretty original. I only played the Embermage so far but the classes are weird : Outlander , Engineer and Berseker ... wtf is that lol.

The animal pet is a nice addition .... you can send him to town to buy and sell stuff while you go pee.

The fight bring a lot of hypnotic FX and colors on your screen and the loot table is wide and customable

The Shared chest is another great innovation ..... got a legendary restricted to an outlander while playing your embermage ? no problem , alt have access to the shared chest. Overall , they mostly removed the inventory problem of Diablo II.

Also , it only cost 20$

8.5/10

Just bought the PC remake of Final Fantasy VII online. It was a pain in the ass to get the game in working order with Square's connection/server issues, but once I was registered and able to play I had no problems! Been playing a few hours and it brings me back... How I missed this game!

Halo 4!

I'm a CoD enthusiast (along with Halo), but I'll be passing up Black Ops 2 for quite some time, probably well after Christmas.

Diablo 3

Never played a Diablo game before (shocked gasps). But I'm really diggin it. The isometric gameplay reminds me of glorious days gone by when Neverwinter Nights used to take up my whole weekend. Ah, the memories.

Yes it was very epic. It was a little too easy this time around though. Within 3 days I beat it twice (first on hard, then on brutal) and have all the achieves except for a few of the Campaign Masteries plus lvl 20 on the ladder.

Agreed. Epic. Finished it today on hard. I have to admit the missions around mid-way through the campaign were especially difficult for me at times. But I found the last third of the campaign was relatively easy, even on hard mode. Loved, loved, loved swarming Terran defences with a mixture of 150 banelings, hydralisks and ultralisks. Pure destruction!
