Definitly A Nightmare on Elm Street. I love alot of its characters to, Donald Thompson (1,3), Alice Johnson (4,5), Rick Johnson (4), Taryn White (3), Rod Lane (1), Debbie (4), Greta (5), Kristen Parker (3,4), and the best is Freddy Krueger (the whole series).

Also all of them are original and dont center on the body count.

part 1: 4.
part 2: 17.
part 3: 7.
part 4: 6.
part 5: 3.
part 6: 6.
part 7: 4.

And I own all of them and I cant wait for Freddy vs. Jason, if it ever comes out.

Friday the 13th. Loved Parts 1-4. All were classic slasher films with loads of violence, suspense, and

Thought Part 5 was a decent film that fell short of it's potentia. Worth seeing for John Shepard. Part 6 is a great movie in the same vein as Evil Dead 2. A classic. Part 7 is another decent flick that fell short of what it could've been.

Then the series hit rock bottom. Jason takes Manhatten was terrible and Jason goes to Hell is only worth seeing for the violence.

the HALLOWEEN series started great, but took a huge nosedive when H3 came out..it was somewhat revived when H4 came out, but H5 kinda sunk it deeper in it's hole...H6 was OK, but too complicated to really enjoy it much, and well, H20 was truly a DAWSONs CREEK edition of a HALOWEEN movie..

the FRIDAY series was good, but from part 3 on, the movies are almost identical to each other..some are fun to watch, but they are so repetive that it gets boring fast..

the NOES series was solid in its first 3 flicks, but after that it became a "mess"...there were re-run scenes, paper-thin characters, boring characters altogther, not much plot, and well, they just sucked..

the SCREAM series was the best series..from the original to SCREAM 3, the series managed to keep the SCARES intact,the LAUGHS throughout and the MYSTERY raging on...i do disagree with the killers(well,one of them) in SCREAM 2, and the whole motive/backstory behind the killer(s) in SCREAM 3 was kinda "UMMMM,OK", but overall the SCREAM series was entertaining, and i actually welcome another sequel...

the HELLRAISER series should have never been made..

LEPRECHAUn was OK, but the sequels sucked worse as they progressed..

i have only seen ALIEN, so i can't comment on the whole series, but i wasn't too impressed with the original, so i doubt i think much of the series as a whole..

IKWYDLS needs another sequel...the killer supposedly survived after part 2, so there needs to be another sequel to either kill him off, or something to that effect..I STILL KNOW was a solid sequel, and wasn't near as bad as most think it was...

TCM needs another sequel to erase the horrid stench that TCM 2 and 4 left...they can bring LEATHERFACE and some more members of the FAMILY back, and this time, make it SCARY...don't make it a fucking comedy like TCM2...i can see having some laughs, like in TCM 3, but making a full-blown comedy like TCM 2 was a horrible mistake..what was HOOPER thinking??
