You got a bright idea about writing a movie......now what???

what are some important questions you should ask yourself before you even start writing ??

questions that will let you know right off the back if you have a strong enough premise to write an entire movie about it or not?

For example, let's say you just start out with a logline like this (i got this logline from done deal as an example, it's not my project): Jack Reacher, an ex-military investigator, solves crimes as he drifts from city to city.

What are some questions you can ask yourself that will allow you to create twists and turns in the plot?

All responses appreciated.....
