MISSION: EARTH

Is this 10-part series by L. Ron Hubbard worth the moolah?

Hmmm...I doubt it. I tried to read an L Ron Hubbard book once and it nearly bored me to death. Anyway, I have a lot of issues with Hubbard as a person too, so I might not be the best judge of his books.

A friend of mine read them years ago and kept trying to sell the series to me by telling me that it was full of superhumans raping earth women and the like. Sounded pretty trashy to me. Not the good kinda trash that Richard Laymon writes neither.

Tried reading it once. It's trashy, boring, and all in all there's really nothing interesting in there. It just plain sucks -- not as much as the BATTLEFIELD EARTH flick, but it sucks.
