Wow, didn't the teaser come out like 2 weeks ago. Shitty marketing, just like the first. That's why this is going to BOMB! Ebert liked it though.

Why in GODS name was this movie made? Was there really a out pouring of demand that warranted this movie? I saw the first one and sat thru it for about 5 minutes and I could hear my brain start to groan in agony. Even the kids in the theatre werent laughing and thats who they targeted it to.

well mr grumpy pants the first movie didnt do too badly, and now adays when that happens, BANG there is a sequal. And as terrible as that may seem, the public still returns to the theater to see it

That doesn't seem to be the case for this particular sequel, based on the box office numbers.

That's hilarious Tayzlor.
Did you read all of Ebert's review?
Ebert, the stylistically witty reviewer gave me a thumbs up, while the other one kept bashing him.
LOL

Ebert liking it gives me a little bit of hope actually because he was the only one who liked the first one and I really enjoyed the first one as well.

I'll still be going in with low expectations though. Just in case I don't agree with him this time out.

Just saw the first one for the first time and enjoyed it quite a bit. There were a couple of really funny moments. It was also pleasant and easy to watch. May see this sometime.

The last twenty minutes of the movie are hilarious. Great stuff. Until then, the movie is kind of eh. It has it's moments but is a little silly as well. Also, I wish John and Liz had more screen time. Mainly because I really love Breckin Myer and Jennifer Love Hewitt. They are a very appealing couple. And Billy Connolly is hilarious as the movie's villian. Love when he gets his comeuppance at the end. Again, great stuff.

So, overall, not really worth full price, but a pleasant enough diversion in a matinee.

** 1/2 out of ****

or

6/10

I just saw the first one a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed it. This is playing at my $1 theater right now, so I'll make sure to catch it sometime.
