Spidey3 - Venom & Carnage - Who would you pick to play them????

Ok it's been a very long while since I've posted on these forums but I do check the home site regulary, anyhow, I've been thinking about this alot recently since I heard there were gonna be 4 villains in the 3rd spidey flick. Anyway my question is who would you pick to play them.

I can only think of two people who can play them for some reason,

James Marsters

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0551346/

Played Spike in Buffy/Angel can be a very good villain and can be play comedy scenes.

the other is Jake Busey from Starship Troopers/The Frighteners

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000998/

Again he can play a good villain or comedy.

It all depends on how Sam Raimi want's for both characters does he want them to be full fledge villian or with a little comedy in them.

Who would you pick to play them roles?

PS: Sorry if it's in the wrong section, I haven't been on the forum for a long time

Those are good picks but why would you want any comedy what so ever with these two...............they are supposed to be the most evil diabolicle forces ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is understandable in a movie like X-men because they had some common ground but not in SP3! Its a kill or be killed moment everytime they meat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion, nothing on yours

If you would take time to look he says

"Anyway my question is who would you pick to play them."

So even if he doesnt know that Venom has been cast he is still asking your opinion

I am happy with the choices made as of now. They could suck ass though.

Paul Rodriguez would be good because he probably needs a job real bad now and would do his best so that he might be able to get more work.

Joe Rogan would be another.

If you do not like it, kiss my ass!

Then he shouldn't put Spidey3. Dumb asses? You must be a regular poster on IMDB. Go back there and hang with the other eggheads.

I personally don't like the casting of Grace. I think they could have found someone better than that wimp. Not really sure who I would pick though for the part of venom, and carnage is a hard choice too.

Lets try not to take these things too literal. I love the fantasy hypothetical questions (yeah I know, i'm a horrible speller)

I kinda thought that too but Tobey was an awful choice for Spidey, he was really wimpy looking too. I know Spidey was never really ripped or anything but I never pictured him being a little wuss like MacGuire. That turned out pretty good though.

If I recall, Venom was a little more muscular than Spidey in the comics, but considering he will probably be 80% CGI, it really wont matter.

yeah they're both wimps. But if the real Toby and Topher ever got into a bare knuckle brawl in real life, I might have to put my money on Toby..... boy what a sissy fight that would be.

I'm a loyalist to the comics and all -- and I really dig the big, muscley-venom, but what it appears they're doing w/ Grace is finding some as Tobey Maguireish as possible, and making it as sort of a ying/yang between the two characters, which will work on the screen.

If they made a body-builder Venom like the comics, i know people are going to hate this -- but with the few lines he would have in the movie -- The Rock is physically built for the part.

Carnage in the comics was a crazy bastard who killed people and who became infected and then became a crazy basard who killed people and looked cool. I was talking to a friend about this -- even in today's age of CGI, to make a comic-like Carnage would be too rediculously CGI-dependent with the steam and the colors and the consistency with the human characters, it's not as if they couldn't do it, it would just be too much. Someone Jason Stratham-like or Tyrese Gibson-like would fit the part if they made the choice though (I just picked two athletic bald guys, basically).

But here's the thing: still underneath that freaked-out Carnage costume was reddish-orange haired Cassidy, who if I recall actually looked kind of sickly thin. Yeah, I dunno who that is either, but yeah, that's how I remember Cassidy/Carnage.
