Saw 3 vs. Hostel 2 vs. The Descent 2

Which will be a better movies will stand on top? I didn't really like Hostel, and I loved Saw and The Descent. I hope they don't mess up The Descent by making a sequel I think Saw 3 won't be that good but it'll be better than part 2. And Hostel 2 is suppose to have so much more gore but The Descent has the highest level of gore and blood to date. Who do you guess think will be on top?

I didn't think Descent was very gory, really. But on topic, I don't think I'd like either of them (I thought both Hostel, Saw, Saw II were bad). I don't see how a sequel of The Descent could possbily be any good but if Marshal helms it, I'd be the first one in line.

I actually liked SAW I better than the second .. so not really expecting much from the 3rd.

The Descent was surprisingly good .. but I'm wondering how the 2nd one will work out.

I wouldnt mind an ALIENS type approach where they actualy send in real troops to wipe the creatrues out, but overall i wish they would leave this one alone.

I didnt care much for SAW, but loved SAW 2. It added to the first one in all the right places and even got rid of a few plot points i was going nuts over.

HOSTILE i really dont care about either way. It wasnt all that bad at all, just nothing that set my world on fire.

I've only seen the Saw movies, though I might catch the others on DVD; Hostel before the sequel comes out, Descent when it's released on DVD.

I'm really looking forward to the third Saw movie; I enjoyed the first two.

When I went to see The Descent the person whom I went with was excited when they showed the SAW 3 teaser. Do we need another one? Wasn't the ending to the last one enough? Of course not since it was open ended.

The Descent was okay. The UK ending is much better since it didn't play on the fact that the one with the tradgey at the start makes it to the end. Would I go catch the sequel? No.

Saw is at the advantage. The series is like Final Destination- whats a cool way to torture/kill people? If you dug the first, there would be no reason to not like the improoved ways to murder seen in the sequals... no need for a story, its just "how do we make a sweet murder". Its like what Kaufman said in Adaptation.

I actually kinda liked Hostel, not really interested in the sequal. I really liked the Descent, I hope they dont make another.

I think Hostel 2 has the best chance of the 3, it has a good theme that can keep continuing in new ways if they writers are up to par. As for Saw 3 I wouldn’t be surprised if it's the worst of the new trilogy, saw 2 sucked and wasn't half as good as Saw.

I haven't seen Decent yet but I would expect a sequel to come up short.

The only sequel I would be interested in is SAW 3 (which I will be seeing in October).

I would skip both HOSTEL 2 and THE DESCENT 2. HOSTEL was garbage.. and while THE DESCENT was good, I wouldn't like to see a sequel.

I'm looking most forward to Saw 3 because it could be (probably not, but whatever) the last in the series. I'm sure it will be filled with gore and cool twists and turns. The Descent 2 is completely pointless if you followed the UK ending and I really hope they don't make it. Hostel 2 will be cool as hell, with more gore throughout instead of a bunch of guys getting stoned for the first hour.

I'm excited for Saw III because:

A: I loved the original and I liked the sequel.

B: Like what APzombie said, it's like Final Destination: Limitless ideas for traps!

Although I am slightly worried, because of the movie budget. This may sound ironic, but since Saw III is spending 10 million instead of the 5 million for Saw II and the 1.2 million for Saw, it showed that they might concentrate more on the traps and gore other than the twists and turns that made the original so great. I mean you saw what happened to Saw II, since they had a higher budget they spent more money on traps and such. I just hope they're intelligent enough to keep a good plot WITH the increased budget.

Although, even if it didn't improve, atleast it will (hopefully) not get any worse than Saw II.

I'unno, I loved Saw, Saw II, Hostel and The Descent and I welcome their sequals with open arms.

I detest Eli Roth and I thought Hostel was even worse than his terrible first film Cabin Fever.

I love the SAW films (II more than I) and The Descent. I'm not really sure what they can do with Descent II other than the same movie with new characters, and that would automatically be inferior because Natalie Mendoza as Juno is pretty much impossible to top.

SAW was a great balls to the wall horror flick, but it only allowed the 2 best actors in the film (Shawnee and Tobin) about 5 minutes of total acting to do.
SAW II gave them both plenty of acting to do, and they were both phenominal, but they never really got to act together. SAW III should take care of that.

Well, I'm a huge fan of saw so being biased I think saw 3 will be the best. Like someone said earlier, a sequel to the descent would be really bad in my opinion, the first was great, and I think they definately wouldn't be able to top the first. hostel 2 I'm not sure about, I haven't seen the first so I can't really comment.

I really can't say. I mean, I think Saw is a great, creative type of movie. Saw 3 looks, ehh, looks alright, I'll probably end up seeing it and buying it. But honestly, The Descent is on my top 3 list of the scariest, best horror movies ever. I know many of you may not agree, it was just great. Lots of scares, good characters, etc. As much as I would want The Descent 2...I don't want it. Cause I know that it will A. ruin the first one and B. be about some stupid military people who go down there with guns and just sweep them all away. I don't want that, I liked it with six girls who were scared to death, and they had to use their own little tools and devices to survive, not big guns. As for Hostel 2, I don't care really. I hated the first one, really boring. It was all porn and not much gore as I thought there would be. So I'll probably only see Hostel 2 if someone invites me to it for free. So here it is:
