The only two off that list that I haven't seen are High Noon and Doctor Zhivago. Seriously, you need to see ALL of the movies on that list, but in terms of your biggest crime, that would be Casablanca. Go watch it. Now. And don't come back until you've seen it 7 times.

I envy you, Hominid. I would KILL to see what it would be like in experiencing these movies for the first time all over again!

Consider yourself lucky. With the exception of Rear Window and The Sting (both very good movies, but not great IMO), all of these are essentials, and I would suggest that you start with the two best movies on the list: Casablanca and Vertigo.

Most of these I do have in my Netflix queue or less in my current or upcoming DVR recordings, or my dad owns and I'll see some day, so don't attack me for them:

Red River
Unforgiven
Barry Lyndon
The Pink Panther
Gone With the Wind

The Apartment
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Band of Outsiders
8 1/2
12 Angry Men
The Maltese Falcon
Treasure of the Sierra Madre
City Lights
Chinatown
Sunset Boulevard
Cool Hand Luke
The Graduate
Some Like It Hot
Cage aux Folles
Modern Times
Doctor Zhivago
Touch of Evil

I actually think Rear Window and The Sting are among the best movies on that list, but it's just my opinion.

Anyway, after Casablanca definitely do Sunset Blvd, Chinatown and Modern Times, very important!

Wow, you really need to get on some of those. Il buono, il brutto, cattivo, Taxi Driver, Casablanca, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail above all.

You people seriously need to start getting on these. I don't know how one can continue to go through life without seeing The Godfather.

As far as "classic" films I haven't seen, I don't even know. I've seen all but 2 movies or so on the AFI top 100, and I have to go pretty deep on the IMDB top 250 before I hit a movie I haven't seen. I guess I haven't seen Yankee Doodle Dandy, Wuthering Heights, and like Gandhi.
