Wow! This movie hit me like a kick in the nuts. I had heard good reviews, bad reviews, in the middle reviews, pretty much a shitload of mixed reviews. I wasn't as stoked to see it as I was when I saw the original trailer last year. I had heard about the editing problems and how the pieces didn't come together like they should have. But damn, all of those things when down the shitter once the lights when down and the tune of "Over the Rainbow" hit the screen.

It is easy to tell that there were editing problems with this movie, and that's why it took so long, but it didn't bother me at all. I thought it came together quite messy, but in a good way. I mean just read the plot outline, and you can tell, there is a lot of messy shit going on. I mean, kidnapping a kid over $800, which seemed like a joke to start with, but ended up much more serious. That's a messy situation. I also feel like the directors, producers etc. thought that a movie like this didn't have a right to exceed the 2 hour limit, so they rushed a little bit. Hey, I would've been good with an extra 20-30 minutes, but what was layed out on screen, was just fine with me. I had zero problems with the editing.

The acting was also one of the problems I was hearing about. I thought the acting was quite good on all parts. But especially Justin Timerlake who I dislike, but I felt like he became that character, he was that character for the time that he had to act. A very enjoyable performance from him. Not oscar worthy acting or anything, but very solid nontheless

This film is shocking, vulgar, violent and extremely entertaining. There are flaws, but the realistic and entertaining value that this film gives, covers up a lot of the flaws. I recommend this movie to anyone willing to go into it with a positive attitude. I found it to be a much better film than Bully and the story is so much more interesting than most of the other films of this genre.
