Holmes Wants More Children


Katie Holmes "definitely" wants more children with husband Tom Cruise after having such an easy pregnancy with her daughter, Suri.

The 28-year-old experienced no morning sickness while she was expecting and had no food craving besides cupcakes.

The former "Dawson's Creek" star gave birth to the couple's daughter last April and was thrilled by the experience.

She tells Harper's Bazaar, "I felt so proud to be having a baby and so excited. And I felt closer to other women -- to my sisters, to my mom.

"I felt empowered, like, 'I've given birth. I did it! There's nothing I can't handle.'"

Holmes says the transition from movie star to mother has been easy adding, "I've really enjoyed this time that I have taken to be with Suri as well as the challenges of the first couple of months: feeding and pumping, learning to decipher what each cry means -- Is she hungry? Is she tired? Does she need a fresh diaper? -- and figuring out how to really help her."

When asked if she wants more children with Cruise she adds, "Definitely!"

Holmes also said she fell in love with Cruise when the two met to discuss a film, and the actor shook her hand for the first time.

About the pair's first date, she says, "In Los Angeles, my first motorcycle ride ...to the beach. It was amazing and fast.

"I was in love from the moment that I shook his hand for the first time."

She adds, "I have a husband and children that I adore. I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it's -- wow! I am very grateful.

"Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him my husband."

It seems like she is always being photographed with Posh Spice and others, and she is often in Paris. It surprises me to hear she is thinking about another baby.

Besides her role in Batman Returns became a weak link midway into the film.
I do recall that she was the only one not asked back for the next installment unless it changed.

Well, like I said. THE GIFT was her greatest performance ever. BOTH of them. Now I know why that movie was called The GIFT! She has TWO of them! AMEN, BROTHA! WOOOOHOOOOO!!

Is she an actress? No. But she might just have more acting talent than Alba. Bfft- Bff- BRFFFT!! Paaaaahhhh-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I adored her on Dawson's Creek. She was great on that show. And she's been terrific in movies like Abandon, Go, Wonder Boys, Pieces of April. And I even liked her a lot in Batman Begins, which she got a lot of grief, which I thought was unwarranted.

There are definitely FAR worse actresses than her. And I think she's tramendously talented.

Never understood what people saw in her. She was okay on Dawson's and I liked her in Thank You For Smoking. Couldn't stand her in Batman so I wasn't at all surrprised when I heard she wasn't asked to come back for the sequel.

BAtman was never known for his long term romantic relationships. I'm glad they aren't hiring her again for that role. I didn't think it went well in the story. I used to think she was cute in a Katie Couric kind of way. She is still cute but sometimes that can wear thin.
