My book "Nightmare Tales" has been published!!

Hey everyone, how is it going? Just wanted to let you all know that I recently got a book published with Publish America publishing company! I am pretty excited about it to say the least, finally my hard work has paid off! The name of it is "Nightmare Tales" and it is a collection of short horror stories.

There is pretty much something for everyone ranging from werewolves, to zombies, to vampires, psychos, and even a psychological horror story. Here is the press release from Publish America:

PublishAmerica is proud to present Nightmare Tales by Todd Martin of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Nightmare Tales is a collection of dark, horror stories that is guaranteed to produce many sleepless nights.

In “Ornaments,” happy couple Sean and Angel are on a road trip to spend the holidays with family. After an accident on a snowy road, they find themselves at the home of an elderly couple and their grandchildren, who seem to be the nicest, most wholesome family in the world. As the time comes to decorate the Christmas tree, Sean and Angel soon come to the terrifying realization that the family is not quite what it seems.

In “First Date,” Jay, a lifelong loser in the game of love, finally finds the perfect woman, Lily, on an Internet personals site. After weeks of talking to each other online, they decide to meet in person, and the dream date that Jay has been looking forward to his whole life soon becomes his worst nightmare.

Many other spine-tingling stories are included.

Todd Martin grew up in rural Irvington, Kentucky, and has been a horror fan his entire life. He is a former English teacher and has spent most of his life writing. In addition to short stories, he also writes screenplays and has worked on several films as both a writer and an actor. He currently resides in Kentucky with his wife, Trish

The book will be offically released on Feb 20th but you can buy it at www.publishamerica.com now. It is available to buy online at the online bookstore.

In the acknowledgements I thank Arrow as I think he is the future of horror! I have also talked to Arrow via email and my book is going to be reviewed on the Arrow in the Head site as well! This is a dream come true!

Check it out, and I hope you like it!

(Moderator, I have posted this in the horror book section as well, if I am being a pain in the butt by putting it in both forums please feel free to delete one of them. I also want to apologize in advance if this seems like spam, but I am pretty excited about having a book published and wanted to share it with everyone)

Thanks!

Todd Martin

Thanks guys! I appreciate it! It is available at BarnesandNoble.com, (and at some locations, they can order it for you if it isn't in stock. The local store here had like a whopping 2 copies of it and had to order some more), Amazon.com, Booksamillion.com, Publishamerica.com, Waldens and Borders.com and Josephbeth.com. If you guys pick up a copy please feel free to review it (even if you hate it), I am eager to hear what people think of it!

I am busy finishing up my second book "The Gardener" it is a horror novel that started out as a screenplay. We filmed it, it looked like shit and I had a falling out with a lot of people that worked on it so it will never see the light of day in movie form, but hopefully the book will. It is about a mentally retarded gardener that goes on a killing spree and it has a nice 80's slasher flick feel to it!

Thanks again for your kind words!

Todd
