O'Donnell: "My Feud Was Fabricated"

O'Donnell: "My Feud Was Fabricated"

TV host Rosie O'Donnell has branded the on-air feud that caused her to quit talk show The View a "publicity stunt." The star's war of words with fellow presenter Elisabeth Hasselbeck over differing political views last month led to O'Donnell leaving the show - but she now insists the dramatic row was purposely incited, according to the New York Daily News. Speaking at the launch for her new book Celebrity Detox, she told the audience her publicist "orchestrated that whole publicity thing just to get more attention for the book ... brazenly calling up the other hosts, telling them to incite me." O'Donnell had already chosen to leave the series when her year-long contract expired this month, but left The View three weeks early, on May 25.

Oh come on, she could have come up with a better excuse than that.

Wait, no she couldn't have. That is actually the best she do. Pathetic.

Maybe those Koosh balls she used to play with on her talk show were actually toxic and they've caused her brain damage of some sort.

Or she just doesn't know what she's doing anymore.

Getting worked up about or annoyed by anything Rosie O'Donnell says is about as useful as getting worked up about or annoyed by Paris Hilton's view of foreign policy. She is off the show. Let her go away.

But Madsen, who else will everyone bash and rant about?

Oh wait, there is always Tom Cruise. Damn weirdo.

No, it's all about Lindsay Low-han these days. Wacko Cruiso (as I call him at times) has been very quiet lately as I've noticed.

If her fued was so fabricated, then why did she not back to work and finish out her time on "The View"?

Give it time. Her star will fizzle.

I wouldn't expect anyone to work in a hostile environment. (they could be sued if there is evidence)

There is probably evidence that she recieved from people that worked on the show that would have such information.

Honestly I've never watched the show(view), or any of other of O'Donnell stuff, but for what i've seen of her she seems like a honest, nice person. And I believe her.

She'll have another show, and possibly be up against her old show.
