Damon Fears Fans Will Pee on His Star Matt Damon fears his thrill of getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will be marred when he sees someone urinating on it. The actor was thrilled when he was invited to unveil the honor and couldn't believe the day had actually arrived when he attended the ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard on Wednesday. He said, "I can't believe I'm standing on a star with my name on it. I'm going to show my kids that. "Ben (Affleck) and I lived in a really crappy apartment about five blocks away from here and we used to walk up and down here. "This'll probably sink in when I walk down the street in about six months and see someone peeing on my star."

Well . . . he doesn't have anything to worry about from me.
I actually met the guy once when he was promoting the second Bourne movie; he's a cool down-to-Earth guy. Frankly, I think he should've gotten the star YEARS ago.

As a tradition, I used to hock a loogie on the star for New Kids On The Block that they had at the Tower Records in Boston every time I went there. One day I was rearing back to let loose a big one as I was walking out of the store, just as a homeless bum decided to rush up to me to beg for change. Needless to say, I missed the star...

it's so cool to see Matt Damon become such a successful actor, and still keep his roots from the good ol' Kevin Smith early days.
I think he's growing into one of the greatest actors. Up there with DiNero and Hanks.
