Recently got to rewatch this on DVD a few days ago and I forgot just how good the movie is. The movie is packed with comedy, emotion, a little suspense, and some great characters. The movie follows three friends, Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern, and Bruno Kirby, as they go on a cattle drive and try to deal with some personal issues they're each going through. Whether it's Billy Crystal making wisecracks, the three friends talking about their best and worst day, or discussing how to set a VCR to record, you're along for the ride every single minute of the movie. Jack Palance is also great as the old cowboy who's the group's trailboss. There's excitement, humor, suspense, and even some emotional moments that you can't help but get caught up in. This really is an underrated comedy that few people discuss.

Haven't seen it in years but I thought it was a pretty good film. Not drop dead funny or anything but fun. I also liked City Slickers 2. Jon Lovitz is the man! Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

i've always loved this film, the sequel is also very entertaining, it's one fo those films that i can sit down and happily watch whenever it's on tv. very funny film with some great dialogue, excellent acting and never dull or boring

Of coarse I love this movie. It's hilarious and sweet. The chemistry between Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern and Bruno Kirby are wonderful. And Jack Palance gives a wonderful, scene stealing performance. Great comedy.
