Plot:Abandoned by their girlfriends for the summer, teenagers Tenoch and Julio meet the older Luisa at a wedding. Trying to be impressive, the friends tell Luisa they are headed on a road trip to a beautiful, secret beach called Boca del Cielo. Intrigued with their story and desperate to escape, Luisa asks if she can join them on their trip. Soon the three are headed out of Mexico City, making their way toward the fictional destination. Along the way, seduction, argument and the contrast of the trio against the harsh realities of the surrounding poverty ensue.

Opinion:
I rented this movie on vhs today (Nov.1) well i had been trying to rent it for weeks since it was released but i never found it on Dvd or Vhs so finally i found it today but on vhs. This movie is "The most provocative foreign movies of the year!" oh yeah this movie is really good and is entertaining. This is actually the first mexican movie i have seen.

Well this movie is not like does immature teen movies of america, this is a drama,comedy,erotic!!!! Yeah this movie is erotic and is not really for people under 17 but I sure didn't had any problems renting it.

I admit that the main thing i like about this movie is the sex and nudity is just the 3 main characters are just so hot and im very please after after watching "Maribel Verdú" (Luisa)tits,pvssy & @ss. Seeing "Gael García Bernal"(Julio) and "Diego Luna"(Tenoch )naked showing there penis and @ss was good, hey we all go a little perverted sometimes. The cast is irresistible. There are a lot of sex scenes right from the beginning we see 2 couples having sex. The last sex scene is my favorite because is a threesome is really hot especially when "Luisa" is giving "Julio" & "Tenoch" a blowjob at the same time theres this tension between the guys so they start making out. The scene when the two guys kiss was commented a lot by the critics and this movie was very succesfull when it opened on Florida so i was very interested on this flick and im glad that i like it because the movie is an adventure a joy ride how things change between the friends. But when the 2 guys wake up in the morning naked on the bed they freak out and since then they kind off stop being friends and they go and "Luisa" stays having a good time on her last days of her life.

I really recommend this flick if your into those movies I personally like this movies. And the movie is in spanish with english subtitles but i didn't had a problem with that since spanish is my 1st language. This one of the best movies of the year and a instant favorite of mine i love it , i must add this to my collection!Now Im gonna see it again!:drooling:

Be sure to see the Unrated Version now i need to get this on DVD!

I have not seen this movie, but I am ACHING to! I have it on my "netflix" list but unfortunately it says Long Wait, so I am probably not going to see it anytime soon.

This movie won alot of praise and attention by critics and viewers alike, but I really didn't care for it. I thought the premise of the film: two young dudes out on a trip with an experienced, sexy, classy beauty seemed like familiar territory. The male nudity and homosextual experimentation just pissed me off. Maybe it was homosextual panic on my part like Woody Allen says, anyway I didn't care for it. A much better recent mexican movie also starring Gael Garcia Bernal was AMORES PERROS. I would give that film a 9/10 and Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN a 6/10.

Anyway, this is a great film. I loved it for its eroticism and tone of friendship and sex. Where do we draw the line? I will have to collect my thoughts on it, before I can post an actual review.
