HARVARD MAN (2002)

I watched HARVARD MAN last night and it was ok, nothing special though and towards the end I stopped paying attention because I wasn't that interested anymore. Sarah Michelle Gellar is really hot though and I loved seeing her be bad again. The acid trip scene was also pretty funny but it went on for too long and just became annoying after awhile. Basically, it's worth checking out for the hell of it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

Grade: 5/10 or C

EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS (2002)

This was a fun and funny B-movie. The effects were neat and overall I just really enjoyed its tongue in cheek style. Basically it's like Tremors but with giant spiders. I'd have to say this is like the American Beauty of cheesy creature features. I did miss a few parts and I thought the very ending was pretty stupid, but for the most part it was just a fun time.

Grade: 7/10 or B-

THE SUM OF ALL FEARS (2002)

I just could not get into this movie and I only ended up seeing bits and pieces of it, very small bits and pieces at that. I really want to give this a grade but I don't think I have the right to since I didn't really watch it because it was so boring. I was watching with a buddy and even though he thought it was boring he still ended up watching it all. He said it was "ok" but pretty boring and would give it a 5/10. If I were allowed to grade it I'd have to give it a 4/10, it was just so boring and everything was going in one ear and out the other. I like Ben Affleck but Changing Lanes was clearly the better 2002 movie of his.
