"I'm lovin' it" McDonald's commercials
"Bada-ba-ba-pa, I'm lovin' it"
Are these McDonald's commercials not the most annoying commercials ever? They irritate me to no end! I just really can't put down in to words how much they annoy me, one just came on as I was typing this, and irritation caused by it is actually giving me a headache, please McDonalds, stop! I agree Catbread.
I do a LOT of driving day in and day out, and I rely on listening to the radio, and that shitty ass commercial is on nearly every station. I can't stand it. McDonald's new ad campaign is an anagram for "ailing vomit"

Well as the local McDonald Schmoe.....I can truly appreciate the shittyness and lack of creativity that my work puts on television....I mean cmon a bunch of people on rollerblades playing basketball in homo-erotic spandex purple suits is probably the most inventive thing they've ever done, and I personally am upset at the lack of respect the creative minds behind such shit get....I mean without them we'd only get half as many dick head customers who can't tell the difference between a cup full of Brown liquid (Coke), and Blue liquid (Mountain Blast) Prompting them to ask "Which one is which?" I love McDonald's.

God, I hate those ads. Now McDonald's is trying to be "cool" and cater to the hip-hop crowd. It's not working. The people on the commericals are such losers. And those 7up commericals piss me off too, and they're not very funny!
I'll stop now, leave it to Maddox to cover the rest, is site is awesome

the mcdonalds commercial that really pisses me off is the one where the mom is trying to get her kids in from the playground so she pulls out a bag from her car and the song mentions "What would Macgyver do? Then "Wait Hold on, This'll get em oooover her". Ill tell you what Macgyver would do, hed create a carbomb using a pocket knife, the mcdonalds bag and some ducktape and hed blow the family up.

I agree...they're annoying as hell. Especially the basketball one with the "rap voice" doing the "bada ba ba ba" part...it sounds so stupid.

It really is a horrible slogan song. It's not even the least bit catchy. It's amazing that there are millions of creative people in the world and THAT is all they could come up with.

I do not love Mcdonalds.
There is one less than a block from my place and I have never once stepped foot inside (or in the drive-through). I like to yell nasty words at the people I see trying to turn into the parking lot. "you are killing yourself, you fat ugly bastards!!!" The commercial is annoying, but the song is unfortunately kind of catchy.

What does everyone think is the worst? There's oh so many to choose from, but that new one where that lady is on a motorcycle and sees a guy with chicken nuggets is probably my pick. "No time to lose, those nuggets were mine." Ugh, possibly the worst commercial ever.

I really hate these commercials too, all it is a kid, biker, or some person saying how bad there day is {a kid gets the shit beaten out of him, some dude finds her girl in bed in with another man} and how micky D's can make it feel all better.
BTW, i wonder what that guy did to that girl after he kicked the milkshake out of his hand and went all over him?

Yes, the "I`m Lovin` It" crap is annoying.
Sometimes I`ll just say "I`m lovin` it" out of nowhere in public to watch people cringe. But here`s the MOST offensive McDonald`s commercial IMO: the recent one where there`s a bunch of black guys chillin`, and one of them says "Yo, you got any eats up in here?". [Because, as we all know, black people on TV are only allowed to speak in street slang. You know, because they`re black, and that`s how all black people talk all the time. ]So the black guys all start pooling their change so they can have enough money to get stuff off the dollar menu! How f*cking offensive is THAT? The commercial is basically saying that blacks only have spare change and can just barely afford stuff from the dollar menu! P.S. - Anyone see the 'Chappelle`s Show' where he paradies that 80`s commercial where the black guy gets a job at McDonald`s and everyone is so proud of him? Yeah, sure, McDonald`s is "supporting the black community".......by offering low-wage, thankless jobs with no oppurtunity for advancement.

My casual indifference has slowly grown into a bitter loathing for this evil corporation. I never really thought much about McDonald's up until late last year. Sometimes when I'd be home alone on a Saturday night and since there's a McDonald's right across the street, I'd go eat there but wouldn't think much of it. Then Eric Schlosser came to my university one evening and talked to us about a lot of things.. among them, his book "Fast Food Nation". When he went into detail about how McDonald's treats their workers and in particular the animals, I was really turned off. If you haven't read the book, you don't have any idea what goes on behind the scenes. And I'm not even one of those wussy PETA-supporting animal lovers. I just could not, in good conscience, eat a meal there again. Even if I was starving and it was the only place open.. I'd snack on some Oreos instead. Their ads are the work of the devil, and they shamelessly bombarded baseball fans with them during the World Series last year. I recall muting it everytime it was on so I wouldn't have the jingle stuck in my head.

Oh man, this new one takes the cake as the worst. The one where is that "cool" nocturnal party-hopper.... UGH, what terrible lyrics. "That girl ROCKS, she's got more skills than you."
Elgyn: HAHAHA, that's hilarious, good point. BakeTheMooCow: I, too, may never eat at McDonald's again, especially after seeing "Super Size Me". I encourage all to see it.

Damn sounds your ads in the states are worse than the McD ones we have to put up with over here. Being a Mc slave myself i cannot tell you the utter torture it is hearing that song played on repeat every day at work. But best of all when people come in the store and begin singing the jingles at you thinking its the funniest thing ever!!!! ARGHHH!!. The only highlight of the job is abusing customers 'Clerks' style and telling obese customers that we've stopped doing supersize to save their lifes.

I thought i was the only one who hated these ads. I cannot describe how much i hate mcdonalds, i even try to encourage my family not to eat there when their hungry.
What the fucks up with the hip hop thing too?? It just shows how fucking ignorant they are. I'm a hip hop producer/emcee and take a LOT of offence to this shit.

I don't mind the ads so much. Better to have something r&b-esque than more obnoxious muzak.
Doesn't seem to be hurting them too much, either. I just read they had a 27% jump in earnings this quarter.

Just so pleased someone has raised the peoples army aginst McDonalds and thier "I'm Lovin' it" phrase.
I have to say I was quite amazed how the McDonalds advertising department managed to create a monster evenm more grousteqe than Ronald"child molester" McDonald. I mean Ronalds an acid trip all by himself and a bad mind burning one at that. Also the fact that they aimed him at kids(or did he aim himself???) is a pretty disturbing and misleading idea. "I'm Lovin' it" well finaly McDonalds have found an advertising campaign that reflects thier product...Fake,Offensive and sickening.

oh I disagree. I think there is a big difference between not liking a particular jingle and saying that a campaign is racist. What is racist about these ads?
To be honest, I haven't seen the one with guy scrambling for change on the couch. But that pretty much describes 80% of my college meals. Not exactly a dig at the African-American community, IMO.
