Comedy Central's Drawn Together

Did anyone else catch the premier of Drawn Together?

http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/drawntogether/

The first animated reality show ever, Drawn Together chronicles the lives of 8 cartoon characters from the animated universe:

Captain Hero (aka a Superman clone)
Princess Clara (a culmination of all the princesses from Disney movies?)
Foxxy Love (Josie and the Pussycats?)
Ling Ling (I choose you, Pikachu)
Spanky Ham
Xandir (pick an adventure role-playing game video character)
Toot Brawnstein (boop boop-de-doop)
Wooldoor Sockbat (I wouldn't be suprised if he knew someone who lived in a pineapple under the sea)

I just found another reason to watch Comedy Central. Woohoo!

Nah, thumbs down. I know it's somewhat redundant to call it contrived, but really, it seemed like the writers were trying too hard.

No interest!

I turned the channel about 3 minutes into the show. Just didnt do it for me. Plus, I was already turned off by the CONSTANT advertising for it. Comedy Central is practically all I watch, but they seriously over-promote themselves.

Its the animated show Ive been waiting for. So funny it hurts, every episode crosses the lines of good taste to deliver hilarious punchlines.
Amazing what they get away with and for me this ranks alongside Futurama and Family as an anaimted comedy classic.

When does season 2 begin??

I watch it because it's animation (and I LOVE animation) and it follows South Park, so I get an "animation two-fer".

I personally feel it's nothing truly special, though. "Shocking" topics and taboo areas. Okay. The only difference between your usual "Shockmasters" (South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama) is that this show just isn't that funny to me.

However, I say keep it going. It beats the crap out of that Robert Altman cartoon they were trying to push or that "Shorties watching Shorties" bullshit.
