I'm one-for-two at the moment. I thought Cate Blanchett was gonna win Best Supporting Actress, but I can't say I'm totally surprised that Natalie Portman won.

Oh well. I didn't care who wins anyway. I'm still pissed that Kiefer Sutherland wasn't nominated.

And Annette Bening wins. I haven't seen Being Julia, so I can't really comment on the win, but frankly it didn't look that good to me.

Damit! I was hoping for Lost. Actually I would have loved for 24 to win but it won last year, so I wasn't expecting it to win this year again. So because of that I was really hoping for Lost to win!

I loved the look on the face of Evangeline Lily after they showed the clip from Lost. Ditto for Julian Mcmahon.

And of coarse the clip they show for 24 is when Chappelle tries to kill himself. It is the most powerful scene from season 3.

Can't remember. But she took a lot of long pauses and "Ummmm..."'s. I could tell even some of the people in the room were going, "Oh, come on..."

Make that 2 right, 3 wrong.

Since Sideways is likely to take best picture, I thought for sure they would give the screenplay award to Eternal Sunshine! Unfortunately, I was wrong.

I am NOT a fan of Desperate Housewives, however, I do love Teri Hatcher and was rooting for her and was pleased that she won. Nice speech she gave too.
