A friend of mine has me totally stumped on a movie. I absolutely cannot figure out what movie she is talking about. Our conversation tonight will be posted here in hopes of someone figuring out what it is:

(AMERICAN PSYCHO SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!)

Carly: have you seen "the rules of attraction"?
Me : own it. love it.
Carly: me too
Carly: is there another one like that?
Me : like what? tiwsted?
Carly: yea
Me : plenty
Me : depends on what kind of twisted you want
Carly: no,i swear ive seen one that had all the same people in it, but it happened before everything in the rules of attraction
Me : american psycho is about a man named patrick bateman who hallucinates that he kills people. in rules of attraction, james van der beek plays sean bateman, patricks brother. both movies are adapted from books of the same name written by brett easton ellis. is that what you are talking about? cause american psycho is set in the 80's and rules of attraction is in the late 90's
Me : so they're somewhat about the same people

Carly: does he wear a bunny mask?
Me : no
Me : are you thinking of Donnie Darko?
Me : i own and love that as well

Me : but donnie and rules are different casts and have nothing to do with each other
Carly: they like rape random people and wear masks when they do it, but one of them is a bunny mask

Carly: it reminded me alot of the rules of attraction

Me : i just freakin watched that
Me : its about intertwining characters in L.A. and how they come across each other
Me : mob bosses, mob bosses girlfriends, mobsters, professional boxers.....
Carly: then thats not it...lol
Me : a guy does get raped in that movie. but its in the basement of a pawn shop and no one is wearing a bunny mask. there is a s&m slave tied up in a full body suit though.
Carly: i think girls rape guys
Carly: and they put bandanas on them


Girls raping guys in a barn and putting bandanas on them and one of them is wearing a bunny mask and the movie is reminicsent of Rules of Attraction?

She's got me complete stumped. Anyone able to figure it out?

I feel disgusted that a girl named Carly has stumped me on a movie that is not a chick flick.

EDIT: Since this movie is on HBO it could be a partial porno. I was doing my research and found a movie called Tatiana 2: Private Gold 27, the later part of the title might just be part of the DVD name, and not actually part of the movie title. It includes some sort of sex in a barn, so I figured its closer than anything we have got before. But I am sure its probably wrong. And if it is wrong it sounds like the movie is enjoyable anyway.

That's exactly how I feel. I've been wracking my brain since last night trying to figure out what the hell this movie is. I'm to the point of thinking shes maybe confused a bunch of movies into one, and thats why it makes no sense. I have sbumitted everyones suggestions to her in offline messages though, including the porno submission.

Thanks to everyone thats given suggestions (specially you Nikon, I am gonna have to check out Tatiana 2 sometime. Let's bury the hatchett and bond over porn.).

I guarentee she just mixed up a lot of movies into 1. There are too many smart people on this board that know about movies, that someone would have an answer. I am guessing she mixed a couple movies together like Valentine, Donnie Darko, The Rules of Attraction, and some of A Clockwork Orange. Ask her to ask her friend, maybe she remember anyone in it. Any character name/actor/actress, and we can figure this out.

Plot summary

The Smokers is it. Thank you very much Tony. Turns out it is a movie I havent seen or own, which is a weight off my shoulders cause if it was, I would've doubted every shred of movie knowledge I have.

Yeh, they are related in a way that the main character has the same last name. No where near as good, except for Jessica Biel in a nice bra. Though I have to admit I saw The Rules of Attraction only once, and it seems like the type of movie that can grow on you after multiple viewings.

EDIT: I know the reviews shredded this movie, and the ratings people gave it suck, but doesn't the plot actually look pretty decent? Woman take matters into there own hands and seek revenge, doesnt sound awful. I cant imagine finding it at blockbuster or in Best Buy for a DVD. It can't be popular at all or one of us woulda known it right away, or atleast without having to look it up.

Actually, I haven't seen The Smokers, but I remember very distinctly seeing it at Blockbuster. I didn't think it looked very good at all.
