Having recently watched "BATMAN 1989" again, has anyone noticed what Bob the Goon was doing throughout the movie?
I mean, WHAT THE FUCK was he writing down in that damn notebook?? Everything that went down, Bob was writing in that book. If The Joker was cutting pictures, Bob was taking notes. When The Joker and his goons were trashing the Art Museum, good old Bob was taking notes. ETC. Etc. Etc. So ... What the fuck? Does anyone have a clue? Cause I have absolutely none. This really irks me, cause I would like to know what the hell was he writing down. And exactly what was he planning on doing with it? "Theres just too many questions." ![]() |

Bob was one of the best aspects to Batman! The goon everyone sees but you never get deep with, always writing in his notepad and shaking like he needs a leak, always ready for an ol' glock on hand if the boss feels depressed...
I think the reason newer comic book movies suck is that they dont have reliable baddies like good ol' Bob. ![]() |

I actually had that Bob toy. I was really into Batman, so I had most of the toys. Bob was such a puss though. Watch the actor that plays him. Every time he fires his gun, or someone in the vicinity fires a gun, he flinches and blinks. That doesn't give me the impression of a goon. Other than that though, he served his purpose I though.

I thought Bob was great, always on hand to follow whatever insane command the Joker gave him. And he has one of the finest exits ever recorded on film
"Bob. Gun." It's like the Joker says..."You...are my number one guy!" |
