Will ZATHURA be the best live action family film of recent years?

Zathura is the new film by Jon Favreau (Elf, Made, Swingers), coming out November this year. It's based on a reporedly excellent kiddie book by Chris Van Allsburg.



"Zathura" is the story of two young brothers who are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is magically hurtled through space."

There has been some great buzz about this recently, and now the first teaser is out, made from a footage of only the first 15 minutes of the movie. This teaser ROCKS and gave me goosebumps in the end.

It feels a like a terrific throwback to 80's kiddie flicks. E.T, Goonies, Exploreres, etc.

Looks promising indeed, and I usually dig those type of movies. I have the Goonies on dvd (Great,Great!), but what's that other movie Tuukka is raving about: Exploreres??

Yeah man, i dig all these fantasy and sci-fi and other fiction movies,they just take u places away from the real world and relax our mind.........besides the movie looks cool...........

Good to see an adventure movie on the big screen again.


Jumanji was great, but I'm a bit worried about the star power in this movie. I know it has Tim Robbins, but how long is he onscreen?
