Pretty cool Marketing for BB
Superhero Hype! has a pic of how Batman Begins is promoting itself in Matrix online game HERE
Ok, pretty cool, but that is until I saw how they are promoting itself in New York and Los Angeles. Check it out for yourselves courtesy of Batman Hype! and Batman-on-Film. Links: Here and Here This is the first time I see this type of Marketing, pretty effective uh? |

Awesome. Nothing gets my blood pumping for a movie like little red Xs.
Seriously, this new marketing will probably catch on. But it's not like you can use this for every film. People will automatically recognize something like the bat symbol, or the Superman "S", but it wouldn't be as effective for something like, Gosford Park. You know? |

I like it!
Kinda reminds me of Burton's Batman. All the poster had was the bat symbol. Nuff said. It didnt need anything else. No title. No star captions. Just the symbol, and the date. Thats the beauty of it. It's simplicity. |

it's a very smart idea for this sort of film. I like the "bat logo signal" marketing strategy.
and in the video game, boy..thats the first time I've seen a film doing major marketing like that "inside" a video game. very smart. very neat. they got this nailed. people will See it. |
