In the late `70s when roller skating was a way of life, X (Bow Wow) and his pals ruled supreme. But when the doors of their local skating rink close, it marks the end of an era and the beginning of another that sees the boys venture into foreign territory - uptown's Sweetwater Roller Rink, complete with its over-the-top skaters and beautiful girls. Through his preparation for the showdown of the season - the Roller Jam skate off with the Sweetwater crew - X manages to find himself and also help his dad (Chi McBride) get back on track.

I think this looks really dumb. I doubt I'll ever see it. Some urban movies I like (BARBERSHOP, BEAUTY SHOP) but this just looks dumb and not worth my time at all. I could only find one picture for it, which is why there aren't any other pictures on the page.

wtf?! first time i hear about this.
Am i supposed to believe bow wow as a skater? He probably will wear long baggy jeans and listen to Ja rule in the movie while he skates what a load of bull shit movies like this just piss me off just readin about them . What was going on in the people invovled with this projects minds when they dicided to pick, nick cannon, and bow wow?! or hell even film it?!

The only cool thing about it is how "Lovely Day" plays on the trailer & tv spots. I close my eyes and just listen to the song and ignore the terrible looking movie that is within....

Christ, my school is more creative than that...example, during my football game (My team won 34-14, and the older team in my area won 24-12....but on the older team...someone might have broken their neck....all I know is he had to be AIRLIFTED out by a helicopter) but during half-time. There were 4 "Dancing Teams"...Their names were "The cheetah girls", "The singing Divas".."The dancing divas"...and "The diva starlets"...
