Let's See If There's A Connection B/W Fav Films & Fav TV Shows...

Okay, everyone, this is just an experiment. Everyone type their list of their top 5 favorite movies, then their 5 favorite TV series, and let's see if there's a connection. I'll start. Example: if two people have at least one movie and one tv show they both love, then maybe there's a reason they both do. Like how tons of dumbasses who like "The Dukes of Hazzard (Movie)" also like "Laguna Beach". You all know what I mean.

MOVIES:
1. Network
2. The Deer Hunter
3. Magnolia
Tie: 4. Beauty & the Beast (I've got the balls to admit it...lol)/Taxi Driver
5. Wes Craven's New Nightmare

TV SHOWS:
1. The Sopranos
2. Curb Your Enthusiasm
3. Arrested Development
4. Family Guy
5. Little Britain

I guess I do dig themes of time travel and stuff that deals with paranormal activity. I really love that. Movies like Contact, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lost Highway, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. And also movies where the characters are not perfectly good or perfectly evil, but kinda in that gray area in between. Their actions may be bad or even horrible, but the way they are painted, it's hard not to find something about them that you like. I find it fascinating. If I listed more of my favorite movies and shows, like Oz, The Wire, Goodfellas, Seinfeld, American Psycho, In The Company of Men, Heathers, A Clockwork Orange, etc, you'd see more of a thread. But I won't, cause you just asked for 5 of each.

Awesome! I keep forgetting about your Bob and Dave love, and your fondness for B2TF --- Two things I wish I heard more about on these boards...

Well, not your love for them, but the movie/show in general.
