Definitely, I've had this on VHS forever waiting for them to release a better edition than the bare bones one. Will be buying it in April... Hopefully they don't hold it back again, because I remember announcements like this before (i.e. it should've been out by now).

I didn't like the film upon first viewing but I caught again late one night on TV - and it scared the shit out of me. And to think it's directed by Paul Anderson who in my opnion is the biggest hack director in the world(that's not a compliment). Maybe everyone has at least one decent film in them...

I thought he had two decent films in him. This and Soldier (which also needs some sort of re-release, even if to get it in a keepcase and not a flipper anymore.) But yeah, the rest of his catalogue is pretty forgettable.

That movie scares the fuck out of me.

The subliminal cuts of "Hell" and when they finally decipher the video left by the last crew just ruined my brain.

I'm definitely picking this up.

Also, when I saw Soldier I had this weird feeling like it was a few steps away from being a great film. After doing some research and hearing how great the original script was supposed to be, I knew why.

Too bad.

Still, there's some really fucking great moments in it... Such as "I'm going to kill them all, sir." and his systematically killing all the enemy soldiers. Damn, I love Kurt Russell.

I saw this movie in the theaters....when I was like 12! It scared the shit out of me. I watch it whenever its on tv, and I'll definitely get this when it comes out. Hopefully they put the deleted scenes in the movie.

No DC, no sale. This is what the director promised. I could care less about watching scenes that arent part of the movie.
