SYNOPSIS:
It’s hard enough being the nerdy new guy on campus without also being the new girl on campus, who has fallen for the coolest guy on campus, who is totally obsessed with the most beautiful girl on campus, who is crushing on the nerdy new guy on campus.

Viola Johnson (Amanda Bynes) had her own good reasons for disguising herself as her twin brother Sebastian (James Kirk) and enrolling in his place at his new boarding school, Illyria Prep. She was counting on Sebastian being AWOL from school as he tried to break into the music scene in London. What she didn’t count on was falling in love with her hot roommate, Duke (Channing Tatum), who in turn only has eyes for the beautiful Olivia (Laura Ramsey). Making matters worse, Olivia is starting to fall for Sebastian, who—for reasons Olivia couldn’t begin to guess—appears to be the sensitive type of guy she’d always dreamed of meeting. If things weren’t complicated enough, the real Sebastian has come back from London two days earlier than expected and arrives on campus having no clue that he’s been replaced…by his own twin sister.

I have an urge to see this...in disguise.

It looks like it could fall into the "it's so stupid/cheesy, by reverse psychology it becomes watchable" category -- a little Shakespeare mixed with bad 80's nostalgia flick Just One of the Guys.

Unfortunately, though, unlike Joyce Hyser, I don't think Amanda Bynes will be daring enough to flash her ta-ta's.

That is the only reason I will even consider ever watching this.

**SPOILERS**

uhhhhh Amanda does in a sense but you actually don't see the twins...

YESSSS I went to see this. The movie is a modern day take of "The 12th Night" <---sorry I had issues actually trying to spell it soooo...... The reason why Amanda decides to go dude is to prove a point that girls are capable of playing soccer (her true passion) when the girls team at her school is no more. She assumes the indentity of her brother who decides to go AWOL abroad to pursue music. Bynes transformation as her brother "Sebastian" is a wee bit rocky at first w/ some help she manages to blend right in. I am wondering, did Amanda get her inspiration from Ellen Degenres? The way she camped it up reminded me of her. The pacing is dumb but I liked it. I was laughin it up.
And interesting CAT FIGHT scence. Yes folks CATFIGHT in the ladies bathroom which involved 3 women goin at it. There is some obvious plot holes but an amusing gender bending comedy.

(7/10)

See, I knew when I was watching this trailer that it reminded me of something from Shakespeare but I couldn't remember the name of the play. Just the character names kept sticking in my mind.
