I thought I heard them say last year was going to be their last Barnes & Noble sale but I cannot confirm that as a fact.

Various booksellers have said it's on for the 10th and Criterion Cast's scoop points to the 7/10, too. Presumably running for three weeks until 8/1. It is to coincide with an art house film sale.

Edit: It's been confirmed by many BN stores via members in this thread. I've contacted my store and they confirmed it, too.

I just wish there were more new releases during the sale.

I was at Barnes & Noble a few days ago and bought a Criterion and the cashier mentioned that they are starting another 50% off sale soon. That lines up with what they have done in previous years, doing it in July and November.

So I would guess around the 1st or 2nd week of November then.

I know I'm definitely getting Rashomon and Rosemary's Baby, as far as new releases.
