In need of a laugh

Any suggestions? Have just read 'The Cheese Monkeys' by Chip Kidd expecting to laugh, but sadly didn't much.

Funny books... I just discovered Tom Holt and he's making me laugh pretty consistently, try Faust Among Equals as a starting point.

The funniest book I've ever read is The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis. Gut busting and thought provoking, you should definitely read that one.

The Discworld books always make me laugh.

"Of course, Ankh-Morpork's citizens had always claimed that the river water was incredibly pure. Any water that had passed through so many kidneys, they reasoned, had to be very pure indeed."

Not a novel. Comic strip. Get Your War On!

Also "My New Fighting Technique is Unstoppable" is hilariously absurd.
