editing

i just got a new video camera and i filmed some little clips and tried to edit them together. The problem was whenever i would press record on my VCR then play on the Video camera, the VCR wouldnt start recording tell like 2 seconds after i pressed it. I aslo have another VCR that i might try hooking up to my other one. Then record all my raw footage onto a cassete and edit it from the two VCRs. sheesh this is getting confusing. any suggestions?

My suggestion would be to go digital and buy some computer software.

It's pretty simple - get a digital camcorder. Buy a firewire/video capture card. and then go out and blow anywhere from $150 bucks to a few thousand on editing software.

pc software is a lot better then manual crap. But either way is shitty. I mean, these home cameras suck.
