Blacksad - anyone ever heard of it?

Blacksad is this amazing series of graphic novels by a French writing/artist pair that I discovered recently. The stories are told in a 1940's hardboiled detective, film nior style. The artwork is increadible.

So far only vol. 1 and 2 are availible in English. Vol 3 is out, but only in Spanish so far.

Check out some of this artwork:

I've been meaning to check this out for some time. I've always dug anthropomorphic shit, like Redwall.

Then you need to check out the Samurai Cat series by Mark E Rodgers. They are awesomely hilarious and completely over the top.

And the Moreau series by S. Andrew Swann. There are four books: Forests of the Night, Spectors of the Dawn, Emporers of Twilight, and Fearfull Symetries. The first and last books are especially awesome.
