ya... i'm gonna have to say that is pretty fucking awesome news!!
i dont know how you could not be excited for a new Pee Wee movie! Especially when Paul Reubans has gone on record as saying a new Pee Wee movie will be coming out soon and that it will be more "Grown Up" about how Pee Wee deals with fame and shit! i cant wait to see this!

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is perfect film for me. As a vehicle for Ruebens, it was absolutely perfect. This film ranks easily in my Top 20, and is easily what I consider Tim Burton's best film to date.
I've been hearing about this project for some time now, and am interested in seeing the more satirical/adult side of Pee-Wee's persona explored -- I'm not sure if this is the same project, because what I understand, he's vowed to release a children's movie, and at the same time an adult-oriented movie that explores Pee-Wee's darkside, somewhat semi-autobiographical to Paul Reubens exploits through the early 90s and again a decade later. Either way, I say bring it on. To me, the bad news is that there are people who actually see the return of Pee-Wee as a negative.
