Classic Glamour

I've been digging into the archives again recently and discovering some more classic films. The women in those movies have a kind of beauty you don't see much these days, classier than most that are around today, but sexy with it. So here's a thread for some of your faves from the Golden age of cinema. Here's some of mine to get us started.

Carole Lombard

Barbara Stanwyck

Gene Tierney

More to come

I still have a thing for Olivia de Havilland; particularly her roles in Captain Blood and The Adventures of Robin Hood.

I counter that with Vivien Leigh and Grace Kelly. But it would be tomfoolery to deny Hepburn's beauty!

O.J. Simpson guilty in armed robbery, kidnapping trial

From IMDB:

Latest: Jury selection has been completed in the trial of disgraced sports star O.J. Simpson - with an all-white panel of 12 chosen to decide the star's fate.

Simpson stands accused of 12 charges stemming from his alleged involvement in a heist in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2007, in which two sports memorabilia dealers were allegedly robbed at gunpoint.

Simpson, 61, and his co-defendant Clarence Stewart have pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon charges, which could put them behind bars for life if convicted.

District Judge Jackie Glass, who is overseeing the case, issued a stern warning to potential panel members on Monday, urging them to put aside their feelings about Simpson's previous trial in 1994 - when he was acquitted of the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

Glass said at the time: "If you are here thinking you are going to punish Mr. Simpson for what happened in Los Angeles in 1995 this is not the case for you."

Simpson has insisted he did not know that anyone had guns and said he never saw weapons in the incident.

The trial is due to begin on Monday.

JJ: All-white jury? Claiming not to care about the 1995 acquittal?? Haha, looks like O.J.'s ill-gotten freedom is coming to an end, and a long-overdue first date with Bubba Joe and the Bitches is at hand...

Whoa. 61 years old? He's been a free man long enough, I'm sure he can spend the rest of his days in jail.
