That design is growing on me...including the red border.

i still hate the red border...the rest of the design i'm ok with..i even like the red spine...just not around the front cover.

I am still on the fence with this red border.... it won't stop me from getting it in any way, but I am just not sure I like that red border on the front.

Same here. It makes it look odd in a way

I think the fact that the spine is also red is what helped me like this. It almost mattes the design on the front.

well i got my bee movie and my shrek steelbook and put them together up next to this picture and you can tell mine was green

The background light (which is a yellow lampshade) last night caused the yellowish "hepatitis" effect to Shrek .. reshot it with Natural Daylight ... hit refresh (in your web browser) and Shrek will turn back to green color.

Hey, where is that captivity steelbook from? Also, it's been a pretty big 2 weeks for steelbooks for me. My friend went to Canada for a couple of days, and he stopped by and picked me up Bee Movie, Transformers (Protect) and Ong Bak. I also bought The Proposition and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. At FYE, I preordered The Godfather Collection, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and Indy 4. Phew!

Damn you the two Canadian releases I have my eye on right now are Bee Movie and Ong Bak. I let A Bee Movie go recently on ebay, they just don't pop up that often. There is someone who has a best offer though and I am going to make him an offer and see if he bites on it.

When my friend was there, he said there were a bunch. It was pretty pathetic. As soon as he told me he was going to Canada, I was instantly like, "Oh, you should go to a Futureshop for me!" But good luck with the Bee Movie on ebay though, and if you want pics posted, lemme know.

And Ong-Bak was only 13 dollars there. That was the best deal I've gotten on a Steelbook yet!

Hi guys, just joined the club and admitted that I am a "steelbook dvd" junkie. I have been collecting them for a while and glad that there is a forum for us here to discuss and exchange information. Hope to make new friend here and willing to help out other collectors and likewise. I am in the US and close to Best Buy & FYE stores.
