Pushing Daisies Season 2

Great premiere last night. Very funny.

I never seen a show that has made me love puns or bizzare metaphors so much.

I mean Pushing Daisies. For some reason I can't correct this.

Am I really the only one here who loves this show?

No, I was on board last year, posted a couple of times in the Season One thread -- in all honesty, it's hard to keep a conversation going when there's only so few people who have seen Pushing Daisies.

I <3 Olive Snook.

So far, what I've seen of the first season (I still need to watch the three eps before the break) balances precariously between too, too precious and utterly enchanting, more towards the latter. I can't wait to catch up and start with S2.

This show rocks. Tim Burton on uppers was the best description I've seen of it.

Ohhh, I love Pushing Daisies! Nearly every episode ending gives me warm fuzzies. Very romantic and quirky. And Ellen Greene is the shit! <3

Look like this got terrible season premiere ratings. Hopefully it picks up in ratings. This is sad.

I was flipping though channels and caught it accidentally.

I was a fan throughout the first season, and had literally heard nothing until I stumbled upon the premiere by pure chance.

ABC really needs to make a better push for this show.

So many funny lines tonight. The multiple dead clowns had me rolling of course.

/Not Alone. This, House M.D. and CSI: (Vegas) are my favorite shows on TV right now.

The premier was hilarious and great as always.

I can't be impartial about this show anymore. I love these characters. They are so likable.

Wow last night had some seriously messed up stuff all while still being lovely and breezy.

Interesting that Ned can't eat meat pies.

Seriously am I the only one watching this show.

The costumes and sets last night we're easily the best yet. Love Simone.

looks like this show may be cancelled.

Has anybody been watching this show. Your missing the best writing on any show this year.

Honestly there are so many brilliant one-liners, visual gags, puns, double entendres its hard to watch it once and get it all.

Hopefully its not true but if its at least we got a new classic.

Found this little blurb through AICN (who found it through TV Week):

Quote:
According to industry sources familiar with the situation, ABC has decided not to produce any more episodes of the critically beloved show this season. Word of the show's apparent death began spreading around Hollywood Thursday morning, though an ABC spokeswoman insisted no decision has been made on the show's fate.
A shame if so.

I love the show.

Right now I'm working for a ABC affiliated news station, and we just did a story about how they ratings are dropping more and more every week. It'll probably run through the second season and then be over.

Sad because the first season had to be put on stop because of the strike.

Stephen Root guest starred again last night and was great. He can do menacing really well.

It just got the ax from ABC, including one of my favorite shows, Eli Stone. I don't watch this show but I love and adore Eli Stone so I'm very upset about that.

Dirty Sexy Money also got the ax, so sorry to say for fans of that show.

With Boston Legal also coming to an end very soon, at this rate the only shows I'll have left on this channel are Lost and Desperate Housewives.

Bollocks, television needs Emerson! I refuse to accept a TV landscape without Emerson. With Scrubs ending soon, thank god 30 Rock is succeeding where credit is due, Dexter who knows how much longer they will run it for, and True Blood has made it's mark (A bite mark, nyuk nyuk nyuk) so TV hasn't totally lost me yet.
