I was just curious, how does a canadian (such as myself) go about purchasing something from a store that's only in the states? is there anyone here reputable and trustworthy that someone can recommend to actually go to the store and purchase it for me and then mail it to me? Would love to get these types of little things (extras included) for my little daughter

Well... this is something you need to find a guy or gal here in the States to buy it for you. Stuff like this, store exclusive is short lived. One to two days max before it sells out. And in some cases; sold out in less than an hour after store opens.

Don't buy from the store in question, their website. You won't get the exclusive, it will be the regular release. There are some exceptions such as Best Buy when they list a mail order item with exclusive(s). I bought my box set for 300 that way; that sold out in hours.

As for people. Don't know. I did have a guy in the mid-west (I believe, I'm in California) help me with a "Cloverfield" exclusive. But as I understand this fellow is now in college and is busy.

Looking at your list... That Barbie doll is a regular toy, nothing exclusive about it - just a freebie with DVD. As for that Hendrix CD, a different matter - that would be rare soon. Let me check.

Three stores - four titles.

Man, I haven't done one of these post in months. A sign of the times, piss poor economy.

Today I went to the new Dollar Tree store. Or rather I went to the store that was relocated, more foot traffic. They sell DVDs, but most are crap - public domain filler. But they do sell at times some good stuff, older titles, usually MGM flicks. No luck today for movies. But I did see something different. I found one copy of "Sport Illustrated Swimsuit 2005". Nice. Picked that up. That's it.

I just did recon at Best Buy. I noticed that they are selling "I Love You, Beth Cooper" for ten dollars. Not yet, the most I'll pay for it is seven dollars. It's getting there.

I took home three titles from Wal-Mart. It is true, the store does have a steelbook case (with bonus disc) for "Boondock Saints II". I also picked up with exclusive lunch bag, "Planet 51". Man, I'm so anal. The other was a delightful accident. I was looking about the five dollar rack (the store still has their $5 bin too) and saw "Boondock Saints" two disc SE with slipcover. Shiny. It was in the wrong place. The problem was I could not find where it came from. I looked at all the racks, nothing. One copy in excellent shape. *shrugs* Mine!

No exchanges, everything was mint.
