1. Bandelero by Slightly Stoopid - This song is my ringtone, so you know I love it.

2. Pay To Cum by Bad Brains - It's not as hardcore as Fall Out Boy, but it's fast enough.

3. It's A Circle by Just Like Before(JLB) - Um, I didn't know who these guys were until this song popped up, they sound cool, I must of purchased this album unconsciously.

4. Dance with the Devil - Immortal Technique - For me one of the only good rappers out there.

5. Earth Angel by the Penguins - This song has gotten me a few girls in my time.

6. Night Nurse by Gregory Isaacs - as has this song.

All in all this was one of my more random shuffles.

Choose Me: Strike the Colours
Suggested to me by Psychocandy, this is actually his friend Jenny Reeve's solo outing and it's great. She's got a delicate, beautiful voice and writes smart, heartfelt songs - like this one, which really paints an entire story in under five minutes.

AF607105: Charlotte Gainsbourg
Charlotte Gainsbourg talking over music by Air. Sexy.

Sister Do You Know My Name: The White Stripes
Brilliant, authentic, blues from The White Stripes best album (De Stijl) with a great vocal and slide guitar from Jack.

Schism: Tool
A truly mighty rocker, building from a skeletal riff to an awesome explosion of noise.

Buttons: Sia
Sia's vocals are a bit affected, but she's a really individual talent and this deceptively upbeat track was theone that really knocked me out when I saw her on Later.

The Light Will Stay On: The Walkabouts
Another I have to thank Psychocandy for, he put me on to this band, who are now one of my absolute favourites. This is a great and emotional record (though that's as much thanks to Carla Togerson's voice as anything) and though its not among my favourites of what I've got by this band The Walkabouts are always brilliant.

Hot Cargo by Weather Report - Fantastic tune that draws on musical influences from jazz to funk to Latin to African to just about any-fuckin-thing you can imagine. Love these guys.

Meccamputechture by The Mars Volta - Fuck yes. One of my favorite bands currently making music. I personally loved Meccamputechture as an album, and also really dug The Bedlam in Goliath. And fuck do I need to see these guys live.

Crepes and Bananas by Chance Fisher - Ahh... the local Chance Fisher that always brings a warmth to me heart. Fantastic, fantastic song... Check these guys out.

Ten Years Gone by Led Zeppelin - What more can be said about a truly fantastic and underrated song... Love the Led.

Intro by 2pac - A little minute and forty second clip of radio hosts talking about when 2pac was shot 5 times but still survived. Not actually a real song, but damn... I love 2pac. What a tough motherfucker.

Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix - Ah, a little slice of heaven from Scorsese's Blues album. I miss Jimi more and more each time I listen to him...

Nightrocker: The Chalets
One of my favourites from the one and only album from this Irish four piece. It's a stunningly simple riff wedded to a simple, but witty, set of lyrics about trying to get someone to come home with you from a club.

Seventeen: Ladytron
Decent track from Light and Magic, Helen Marnie's voice is as strong as ever, but the fact that the lyrics are so repetitive does become a bit wearing.

Drawing Flies: Soundgarden
Two and a half minutes of brutally effective riffing, plus one of the great voices in rock. Great stuff.

Life Worth Livin': Uncle Tupelo
I'm really getting into Uncle Tupelo, his playing and his raw voice are great, but its his lyrics - relateable, emotional, and sometimes blackly funny - that really grabbed my interest. This is one of my favourites of what I've heard of his stuff so far.

Handy Man: The Knife
Not one of my favourite Knife tracks, but even when The Knife aren't at their best they are still better than most bands.

Chosen One: The Concretes
It's a beautiful sunny morning, so this poppy slice of summer and Victoria Bergsman's soft, soothing voice are the perfect start to the day.
