If you write well, and develop something of an identity for your blog (as I hope I've been doing over the last 10 months) people will find your stuff. I haven't added a counter to my blog, but I know that a good few people read it, and that most who read it like it and visit on a relatively regular basis.

It really isn't hard, I've got almost no knowledge of computers and absoltuely no instinct for design. The most complicated thing I've had to do is discover one piece of html to make the clickable list of reviews in the sidebar of my blog work. Other than that all I've done is use the tools provided. Frankly, if you can post here you can make a reasonable looking blog.

BTW: Posted the second part of the complete Nightmare on Elm Street, but the writing wasn't really flowing today so the full length reviews of Triangle, Life During Wartime, Morphia and Katalin Varga will be posted tomorrow.

Just posted Part 21 of my blog's October Horror-thon, Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Once the marathon ends, I'll still post the occasional mini-review for films I don't want to do a full one for, but I'll use the blog mainly to post updates about my horror-oriented writings for other sites.

I'm going to start one, damn it! I'm thinking of blogging my way through different director filmographies, one person at a time. I dunno, is that specific enough? I'm working on some entries for Mel Brooks movies.

All I need to watch is Life Stinks, and I'm done with his flicks. Even saw The Twelve Chairs, which was...erm...yeah...

SAI, I tried posting a comment on one of your posts, but I don't know if it went through. It asked for a word verification, but there was no place to type anything.

I just posted a music review. I have to say, I'm proud of myself for updating the blog every day. I wasn't sure if I was up to the challenge.

Question...has anyone tried Google AdSense?

It didn't. I'll remove the word verification option, see if that helps, thanks for the heads up, and please try again.
I'm guessing that might be a flaw in the custom template I use.

Also, I haven't tried adsense, and won't. I never want ads on the blog.

Edit: Done, tested, and working for me.

Nice blog, THC. I like the simplicity of the design and the overall tone. It needs more Ernest reviews, though.

Well, my blog's in Spanish, but still, if you can speak it, check it out here.

Four years running... though lately the only posts I get are written in Chinese or Japanese or whatever. It gets annoying after a while.

I hardly ever update though... mostly because Blogger is a pain in the ass to use and it infuriates the hell out of me.

Does anyone here know how to make a blog archive ordered in alpha-numeric?

Due to the nature of my blog's content, I really need that system. Because later when I have a few thousand animations, or even now, it is very difficult to find stuff. And I do not want a search engine. I need a system whereby you can browse from A-Z

Anyone please?

If I saw the code, I could probably figure it out. Is it just a link to an image?

Yeah, like when you click on a thumbnail image in my blog, it creates a new window to the full animation. But what I am after is when you click on the thumbnail, you get a small popup on the same page. And you can edit it as well. Have you seen those? I have searched and so far been unsuccessful. If I could find an example, I'd show ya.

It's ok, dude. I figured a system out for my blog. Nice work on yours, but one little gripe. Too much green dude

I like green, but maybe try less gamma. It's killing my eyes

Props to God of War for what he's done on his blog, nice work man!

I've updated my blog quite a bit with film stuff and personal stuff. I am hoping to get a review up tonight and hopefully another one tomorrow. More poster goodness for Halloween is set as well.

Nice Blog SatansPuppet, looks very candid and I like that

Thanks. It's so nice to actually be noticed. I was beginning to think that I was invisible. Sure, I can't write for shit. Afterall, it is my very first blog. But I enjoy my blog work. And I am enjoying your blogs. All of yours...

Just posted the latest two entries in my October Horror-thon, Fear(s) of the Dark and Paranormal Activity. For the final night, I'll be watching a Stephen King adaptation I've never seen before (and am embarrassed I haven't).

I'll be watching a King adaptation today as well. Christine. I've never seen it before. Hope it's good.

Which is the one you are watching?

Posted a Halloween triple bill Movie(s) of the week post and the last three reviews from LFF. Those are a bit late, I've had a break this week, I've been writing a LOT lately and the quality was starting to suffer a bit.

I've been toying with the idea for some time, and have finally got around to starting a music 'blog, mainly as a way of forcing myself to listen to more of my albums. There's only an introduction just now, but I'll be adding stuff in the sidebar (links and other bits and bobs) and the first review (of Annie's much delayed new record, Don't Stop) will be up tomorrow.

You'll fiind the blog here An Album a Day. Comments and ideas are welcome, either on the blog or here. Cheers.

PS: Ideas for a pithy little line to go under the title would be most welcome.
