Actually that's a nice idea, it could change every so often, a favourite lyric of the moment.

First review is now up at my brand spanking new music blog. Be kind, I haven't written about music much before.

Well, last night I posted the last entry in my Horror-thon, Stephen King's It. The blog will be a little more quiet, but I will use it to post links to horror-related reviews and articles I do for other sites, not to mention the occasional mini-review.

I fiddled with the top of my blog. I think it looks pretty cool. I finally have a snazzy title box. If anyone wants help designing a cool title box, let me know.

I had a web site, but just took it down this month.

EDIT: I just now made a blog.

http://kcmblogs.blogspot.com/

I don't know if I can transfer my 200+ reviews from my site to this without making it confusing as hell, but we'll see.

Just posted a review of Frightened Rabbit's brilliant Midnight Organ Fight on An Album a Day. Much happier with this one than I was yesterday's Annie review. Now I've got 4 reviews to write for 24 FPS.

PS: does anyone know how I can code links so that when you click them they open in a new window?

Head over to Adam's blog to see the "title box" I designed for him. If any of you guys want me to design something for you, let me know.

See if that works, I dunno. And who's Adam? Where's the title box?

That's what I'm using, but I'd like code that creates the link as a new window, rather than opening it in place of the blog. Cheers though.

Holy shit, God! The new Rome GIFs in your blog are awesome. You even included highlights from the Titus Pullo gladiator match (probably my favorite moment from the entire show... probably)! Dude... that's seriously epic stuff.

Bravo and kudos!

Thanks man, that works perfectly. Gonna be a fuck of a lot of work to change the links at 24FPS.

I decided to change the look of 24 Frames Per Second and to go with the same tamplate I'm using at my music blog. I think it will make 24 FPS much easier and more pleasurable to read. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I dig the new look, SAI. It's very soft and easy on the eyes.

I just got a new laptop, so I'm in the process of getting used to it. I hope to have a blog update later today. My old machine crapped out, and I wasn't able to post an update yesterday. My bloggy is going through withdrawal.

Updates, updates

At 24FPS, largely to force myself to review more older films, I've intiated the idea of themed weeks. I've started off with James Bond Week. Licence to Kill was reveiwed today, with more to come every day until Sunday.

Recent album reviews at An Album A Day include records by The Dead Weather, Royksopp, Neil Young, Fever Ray and Elbow. Tomorrow's album is by Pretty Girls Make Graves.

Have a look at the new stuff and leave me some comments here or at the blogs. Ta.

Yeah I like the new look too.

I'm not as interested in music as I am in movies, but that masterbation vid was pretty funny.

Thanks! Things with my blog should be back to normal now hopefully. More reviews and all sorts! And posters! I'll be doing an Awful Poster again but later in the week to coincide with a podcast.

First new cinema reviews in some time (I've been out of action thanks to a badly smashed toe) have just gone up at 24 FPS. Just posted are: The Men Who Stare At Goats, Cold Souls and An Education. Bond Week will close out with a review of You Only Live Twice in the morning, and tomorrow I'll kick off Tilda Swinton week. Tomorrow evening I'm seeing Michael Haneke's The White Ribbon and a preview of The Girlfriend Experince, with Sasha Grey doing Q and A, so watch for those reviews on Tuesday.

Reviews of The White Ribbon and The Girlfriend Experience are up. I've been a little disappointed with some of my work lately, but I feel like I've got my mojo back with this post. Off to listen to your latest podcast, Marcey.

Finally updated the Red Eye Report with some new links. I reviewed The Box, The Fourth Kind, and 1931's Dracula, and I've debuted my new horror column, "Axe to Grind."

Oh I need to go check that out A.J. and my blog has been updated with quite possibly the worst film poster ever and if you listened to the AITH podcast you'd know all about it hehe. I am gonna have a book review up soon as well, it is sort of film related so I figured eh why not do that for my first book review

Oy! If anyone has any SCI-FI/HORROR FILM requests or HARD ROCK/METAL requests (as I also write music reviews), tell me. Like...

"Hey Count, I'm curious as to what you think of Silverchair's Frogstomp."

PS-I chose Silverchair since you're an Aussie. I was actually curious if you liked them.
