Terrorvision. Who loves it?

I do. I love it. Ranks up there with Night of the Creeps, Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Return of the Living Dead as the greatest of 80s cheeseball horror flicks. Its got groovy special effects, endearingly bad acting, goofy, off the wall characters and its just a pure blast of 80s awesomeness.

Ive wanted to see this forever. Not very easy to get ahold of at all.

This scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. At the time I thought it was cheesy as hell, but something about it really got under my skin.

I haven't seen this film since then, but I remember it being weird and twisted (all those slimy heads poking out from under the covers will always haunt me.)

I saw it for the first time a couple of years ago. I bought it on DVDr at a horror convention. I liked it alot.

I looked it up because Diane Franklin from Better Off Dead, Amityville 2, and The Last American Virigin is in it. She does a good job in this flick and is pretty in a 1985 way. I was happily surprised that the film sports a good B-movie cast. Mary Woronov plays a crazy Mom and Jon Gries, the Wolfman in Monster Sqaud-the werwolf in Fright Night 2- Napolean Dynamites Uncle Rico, does a good job as the jerky heavy metal fan.

It seems like it was filmed when Charles Band (the owner of Full Moon movie comapny) was still really into making films. He produced it. Ted Nicolauo did a good job in the writing and dir. department. He also wrote and dir. the really cool Subspecies franchise. I remeber Richard Bands music being pretty good. It was very 80's with a Sci-Fi vibe.

The F/X where pretty over the top and good for a movie of this caliber. Everything looked really rubbery and slimey. John Carl Bueclher and Robert Kurtzman where part of the F/X team.

I wouldnt say I "loved" the film. But its really enjoyable.

It's on there and definitely worth watching. Managed to get a hold of a VHS copy of it a few years back (I want a DVD release dammit!!) and loved every damn minute, so strange and silly that it becomes awesomely awesome.

Its been awhile since I've seen this rare gem too. I seem to remember catching this one on HBO late night. I too might have check this one out again. A DVD release is needed for this title really soon.

I half heartedly watched it last night and thought it was pretty dumb. That was the intention though... I hope. Wasn't the worst thing I've seen lately but not something I'll be rewatching either. Ted Nicolaou did a much better job with the Subspecies series. Buechler's effects look just as cheesy as they always do (with the exception of FRIDAY 7). It was slightly amusing seeing Uncle Rico playing an 80's hair metal moron. On the other hand all the promoting of WASP was slightly revolting. The Terrorvision theme song is easily the best and worst thing I've heard in a long time. Weird. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
