That was the most elaborate fart joke ever conceived. It was nice that he got to cram in so much drama into it. I really gotta hand it to him for throwing in the neighbors like that. The Latin neighbor was just great.

Yeah I love the neighbours...and whole melon pop saga was really amusing.

Just started watching this (will catch the first season on DVD)...

Holy shit, I laughed my ass off many, many times.

Spoiler:
The bum getting hit by the truck and severing his head? Wow. Maybe I'm a disturbed individual, but that was hilarious.

"So, have you thought about middle schools?"

Wonderfully deranged and hilarious episode...his face after the "spank me daddy" scene made me do a full on hearty lol TWICE.

Yeah, that was pretty great. I really enjoyed it, especially Louie's monologue. It was delivered with complete sincerity, he gets the girl... and then the shit hits the fan. Pretty strong start for the second season so far.

Plus you gotta give Louie props for purchasing that ladies Vagiteen (?)...did he do it because he thought he was on a promise or did he see a little bit of his tragic self in her crazy, socially inept demeanor.

I kind of think he was just trying to be nice.

Yeah, he was just being nice. What drove me crazy was how she insisted on blueberries... That lady really knew how to make a man's penis go soft.

Oh my fucking life...when he went in that teeny tiny flat that basically had a shelved cupboard and the smallest kitchen known to man...and the bum switcharoo at the place with the toilet in the kitchen and the dude in his underpants.

Who noticed the massive continuity error with the coat? Who else doesn't fucking care? This show is just too funny.

Great episode. Nice to see how things have changed in 2011... Louie's got the credibility and the fame. Dane's just got the fame. I'm surprised he took those jabs though.

The whole thing about the backstage security isn't exaggerating in the slightest. Dane really does keep himself sealed off from everybody. He even got Gilbert Gottfried kicked out a green room just because he wanted it.

Gotta love Jim Norton just hanging out for the tight pussy.

What's that you say? TWO brand new episodes of Louie tomorrow?

Somebody pinch me!

Btw, I didn't get to mention it earlier, but Louie's monologue to Pam about how he felt about her was more touching than anything I've ever seen in any romance or romantic comedy film, bar none. A nigga got a lil' misty...

Why the fuck am I always seasons behind on the 'this show is fucking amazing show' bandwagon?

Just finished the first season.

So. Fucking. Funny.

Louis C.K. has to be in the top 3 funniest people on the planet, if not the funniest. I love how they intertwine the stand-up routines with the plots/sketches. And beyond the comedy, it gets to the heart of a lot of everyday stresses that no one ever has the balls to talk about or put in a show/movie.

Can't wait to catch up on Season 2.

Honestly, Season 2 has killed me...I've found it creative, hilarious, poignant and it just hasn't missed a beat.

Moments of note include saddest sex in the world, bum switcheroo, Doug Stanhope, Louie trying to kiss Joan and the baby chick rescue/fall.

Only this morning I was talking about buying me some "Vagiteen" in my online shop...

It's weird, but I thought Louis CK was just an ok stand up comedian. I didn't like Life With Louie on HBO, and I didn't like Season 1 of this show.

But Season 2... wow. I haven't watched it religiously, but when it's on and nothing else is on, I figure I'd give it a shot. And it's been consistently amazing. I mean, on par with this season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Never thought I'd be so high on Louis CK comedy, but man, he converted me.

C.K. is the shit, the one man who just might have the potential to succeed Carlin himself.

You mean Lucky Louie. "Life with Louie" was the animated Saturday morning show with Louie Anderson

Also a good show, though haha

I think I'm the only person who has hated season 2. The one where they visit his aunt was some of the most tedious television I've ever witnessed. Just awful. Trying way too hard to be deep and reflective, which isn't really part of Louis CK's act. He makes really sharp observations about mundane things and dissects them brilliantly, and he's moved away from that significantly on his show. Great stand-up comic, but I'm not watching the show again.

Just finished catching up with Season 2. Can't wait until last couple of episodes air. I loved the last episode and how a nearly fatal conflict was resolved by C.K.'s clumsy ass falling down while chasing a duck.

This show is my latest obsession. I haven't posted anything in this thread because Louie leaves me speechless. I have never seen anything like this on television ever. I'm not gonna say best show on TV since Curb is ruling and It's Always Sunny with Fat Mac should end being hilariously incredible tv. But, still this might go down as one of the most important and influential tv shows ever.

One thought on the season 2 finale and that is that I was sobbing like a bitch during the last five minutes yet somehow managed to both sob and laugh at the same time during the final scene.

"Like when they were building the new Yankee stadium and the old one was still there... that's what it's gonna be like."

Bahahaha. This is seriously in the top 3 best shows on TV right now (with BrBa and Boardwalk). The bit with the signs was hilarious and so true. It's also no surprise that Woody Allen cast C.K. in his next movie.

I do have one question though... how the hell is Louie's wife black haha? I think I did read somewhere that he doesn't give a shit about continuity. That would explain it.

That's exactly it, actually. I read in a recent interview: "To me, the racial thing is like—when people probably first see her, their brains do a little bit of DNA map and go 'I'm not sure I get how that would happen,' and then I think with my show, most people, they go 'Oh, all right, just go ahead.'"

Great start of the season. Loved the bit with the parking signs and the excavator demolishing Louis' car.

What about Obama, indeed.

Alright, that had to be the most awkward episode yet. I loved when he got trampled on the beach. Poor Louie.
