Hustle & Flow
Terrence Howard
Anthony Anderson
Taryn Manning
Isaac Hayes
Ludacris
I expected it to be good, but when I saw it I was disappointed.. I saw a commercial yesterday that said it is going to be on Fuse tv tonight at 8.. I think I might give it another chance, I did only watch it the one time, I like the cast and the preview doesn't look bad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpvIipULE6g

Southland Tales ... the movie blows but the casting is not the problem. Everyone seems to play the opposite of what they are known for ( mostly comedy).

Dwayne Johnson : great wrestler with a knack for comedy and action ... playing the confused anti-hero

Sarah Michelle Gellar : well she's cute , known mostly for Buffy ... playing the dumb blonde bitch ex-pornostar to perfection

Sean William Scott : aka Stiffler from American Pie ... playing an amnesiac cop very seriously

Justin Timberland : pop icon singer/dancer , i hate him most of the time ... playing a drugged-up Iraq war veteran ( he should really give up making CDs and embrace hollywood). I hate to admit it but he's a great actor. The singing sequence was awesome. I got soul but i.m not a soldier

Jon Lovitz : a comedy icon ... playing a maniacal & homicidal cop

Kevin Smith : aka Silent Bob , mostly known for writing good movies and playing Warlock in DH4 ... playing , well , not really sure what he was playing but with all the make-up and shit , it took me a while to spot him.

Christophe Lambert : mostly know for Highlander ... playing the no-nonsense arms dealer from an ice cream truck.

bad movie .. check !
great cast .. check!

It's funny you say that because other than those two and the others that I mentioned, I've liked pretty much ALL of the movies that have listed here with the exception of the original Casino Royale, which I haven't seen.

I wasn't really a fan of Southland Tales either actually but nor do I hate it.

Smokin' Aces - horrible, horrible movie with a lot of big names in the cast as well as some lesser known yet prolific actors who have appeared in much better films (as well as TV shows);
Ray Liotta
Jeremy Piven
Andy Garcia
Ben Affleck
Ryan Reynolds
Alicia Keys
Jason Batmen
Chris Pine
Nestor Carbonell
Taraji Henson
Kevin Durand

I wouldn't call Lions for Lambs bad. Just mediocre. But it's a solid choice nonetheless.

Gamer is another movie that comes to mind.

Yeah IMO 13 was worse than 12 but they both were terrible

I agree that stonereview is out of his mind bc The Departed was brilliant, but then again I think that all of the LOTR movies are useless so we are all entitled to our own opinions.

I thought 13 was pretty fun. Not as good as 11, but much better than 12.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL:
-Harrison Ford
-Cate Blanchett
-Karen Allen
-John Hurt
-Jim Broadbent
-Ray Winstone

TROY:
-Brad Pitt
-Peter O'Toole
-Julie Christie
-Eric Bana
-Orlando Bloom
-Brian Cox
-Diane Kruger
-Brendan Gleeson

ANGER MANAGEMENT:
-Jack Nicholson
-Adam Sandler (though he's prone to being in some bad movies)
-Marisa Tomei
-John Turturro
-Woody Harrelson
-Luis Guzman

STARDUST:
-Robert De Niro
-Peter O'Toole
-Ian McKellen
-Michelle Pfeiffer
-Sienna Miller
-Claire Danes
-Ricky Gervais

So I noticed that two of the movies I picked have Peter O'Toole in the cast. In his defense, I will say that even when the movie is bad, he is more often than not the best thing about the movie (this is especially true in Troy).

Huh. I thought it was pretty fun. Claire Danes was extremely cute to boot.

I put all the blame on the director. The cast was great and the acting was solid all around but I couldnt believe how bad the direction was.
