I ask because I'm a geek and just got a new HTC Incredible S. Which I love. And might have to hump.

Okay, no humping, as it's a touch screen and with my luck I'd call or text someone.

This was my last phone I had and I regret ever deactivating it. There was so much you could do to personalize it with some modding. I had the flux capacitor on the outer screen, it played the "24" beeping startup when I turned it on, and a reverse gif of the HBO TV static opening when I turned it off so it looked like an old TV turning off.

I know you are probably on this stuff GoW, but are you familiar with howardforums, or are you into modding your phone?


My phone now just sucks. I'm embarrassed to even say what it is. I spent months before deciding on a RAZR and then weeks before deciding on a replacement (I was having power issues with the RAZR after 5 years) --- I get to the shop and they don't have the one I want in stock so I blind bought one. Never again!

I used to be like you. I have an Apple 3Gs. I love it. I have everything on here. All my work and personal numbers. Weather, sports, movies (not joblo), google, camera, pictures, Internet radio stations I listen to, Kid games for my kiddies, Stores, cooking stuff, look up places to eat, tip calculator, IMDB, Shazam (music look up), wikipedia, email, and internet.

Thanks to this phone, I hardly ever use my home computer. No need to carry a phonebook or pictures or make as many calls.

So easy to use. I hate Droid. I know some of you love it, but it is not nearly as easy to use and I am not an Apple guy. I love my phone.

I call it my 'Fauxberry' since it looks like a basic Blackberry but is in no way a smart phone.

I can't get on the smart phone band wagon as a person who likes his devices to do one or 2 specific things. I have a MP3 player for my music, a PsPgo for my games and a phone to make calls and txt. I do not need a single device to do all these things cause if i lost that device i'm fucked or even if the battery dies then i can't do anything!

I'm sure i'll get a nice shinney smart phone some day, you know when i have an extra $500 to drop on a phone

You are the man! I was rockin the Razr up until a few weeks ago...but mine was silver. I called it the DeLorean...a) because it was silver and b) because whenever I would pull out my phone in a bar or public area people would look at me like I just stepped out of a time machine. I'll always love that phone.
