what is the most sadistic movie ?

what is for you the most sadisitc movie ? I've just watched LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT recently and still think it's a real sadistic picture. H1KCORPSES is also in a good place in this category like other titles like : PSYCHO SISTERs, I PISS ON YOUR GRAVE, MEN BEHIND THE SUN, the ILSA series or A GUN FOR JENNIFER. What are yours ?

Man Bites Dog (supremely sadistic)

Audition (how can you not feel sorry for him? He falls in love...then bam!)

Robocop (I always thought it was terrible the way Murphy is given no choice with his life/death and then gets hounded by fucking EVERYONE)

Carrie

The Fly

Oh, sorry, not a horror movie. I would say HALLOWEEN 3: Season of the Witch, because they target all kids across the U.S.

Movies aren't sadistic, it's the people in movies...

But if we're talking about sadistic MOVIES, The Birds 2 is sadistic, trying to bore everybody to death...

Not only have I seen them, I own all three of them. They're not pretty films. Some of the actresses are but boy were these flicks sick.

Would you like reviews for them? I can e-mail them to you or post them in the Horror Review section. Just give me the word.

Opera is the most sadistic movie from Argento.
Otherwise a more realistic movie is the very good Funny Games ( an austrian film from Michael Hanneke )

I can't say I quite agree with Man Bites Dog. I thought that movie was thoroughly enjoyable and, on top of that, hilarious.

I posted a review for the first flick already, you can do a search and find it no sweat. The other two I will review for you shortly. I'll post them on my site then post them here.

Sorry about the late reply, I forgot about this topic. So many new one's are popping up all the time, it's hard to keep track.

Hmmm....I saw the first guinea pig. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still worth checking out if you think you can handle it just to see what all the talk is about.

Nekromantic 1 & 2 is pretty twisted and there are a few sadistic scenes in I Spit on Your Grave, Last House on the Left, House on the Edge of the Park, Last House on Dead End Street, Salo, Ilsa series, and even Argento's Terror at the Opera had some too.

LOL, Beyond the Darkness is a very sick movie indeed (that's the American title). That was one I meant to mention. Two of the goriest sequences ever put to film (the autopsy and the acid bath).

Its definitely worth a one time shot. If I had my time back, i would've just found it for rent, though ..even if i DID have to suffer through some bad editing..

The replay value is nil, unless you're a D'Amato fiend.. like fulci, people seem to find some serious depth to his stuff.. I cant get into it, personally..

Many would call it brilliant but I'm not really sure that's a fitting word. It's like the movie Nekromantik in a lot of ways. I hate Nekromantik but I don't think this movie is all that bad. So many people talk about it as though it's a horror masterpeice but I don't think it's even close to a masterpeice. Here's the review from my site.

Beyond the Darkness- 6/10

Genre: Horror/Italian

Year: 1979

Rating: US Unrated/ Can R for Disgusting and Rampant Gore, Nudity and Mature Themes (Not to mention sick).

Director: Joe D'Amato

Cast:

Kieran Canter

Cinzia Monreale

Franca Stoppi

Plot:

After his wife dies, Francesco can't deal with the pain. He decides that he needs her around so he digs up her body and stuffs her (with cotton, not sexually). Soon, people discover his secret and he makes them pay.

My Thoughts:

The last week I was in Florida and happened upon Virgin Records. I was lucky enough to find a copy of this rare film. I tried to order it here in Canada but it wasn't available. I watched it the whole way through and I didn't barf, although some scenes almost provoked gags (like the human taxidermy).

I've heard many things said about this movie but you can't really describe it. It just sort of is. There's no reason for it, there's no message learned at the end, just many scenes of sick gore that lead to bizarre plot twists.

This is a must see for gorehounds, it is truly a splatter classic. Wait till you see the acid bath.

Acting- 3/10

Although the acting is pitiful, the actors sometimes showed moments of despair and that helped the rating a tiny bit.

Directing- 7/10

You'll either love it or hate it. It has a somewhat slow pace but it delivers everything you expect.

Gore- 10+

The gore doesn't hit as frequently as you might expect but the long scenes of sick and twisted gore help it enough to get a 10+. A body is completely dismembered and thrown into an acid bath, an ugly taxidermy sequence that is so realistic that I almost puked. There's lots more than that but those are the long scenes you have to watch for.

Nudity- 7/10

Lots but the problem is, the nudity comes from corpses.

Sorry about diggin up a topic from 7 years ago but... I've just saw the most disturbing/sadistic/etc movie ever and thought I should share The title is 'Aftermath' (1994). Two guys do an autopsy, at one point one of them is having sex with a skinless corps for example... Rough.
