Opinions...

So I was checking out what was going to be on HBO, and have some movies set to DVR. Did some research on most and was looking for some Schmoe f/b.

Road Kill (2010) - Killer Semi? Why not, I like Duel, Road Games etc. Hell, I even have a heart for Maximum Overdrive!

Pig Hunt (2008) - Sounds like Razorback reduex.

The Collector (2009) - "Gory torture-porn in the likes of Saw". Sounds fun to me.

Rampage (2009) - Oh no! Is it possible that Uwe Boll made something watchable? Let alone enjoyable?

Severance (2006) - Most excited about this one. I remember hearing alot of good things about this but never came across it until now.

Thanks for the feedback!

Pig Hunt was one I've been wanting to check out for awhile now.... Sounds like ridiculous fun to me.

I'd be interested to hear feedback on this movie as well.

I watched Severance last night. I totally fucking dug it! Unfortunately, over the years I have lost any ability to articulate a full review (a little "burnt" perhaps?) but I can say it had me from start to finish. The suspense in this one was top-notch.
8/10

The Collector is very entertaining, and I actually enjoyed it more then any of the Saw films. There's a sequel coming soon also...

Rampage is the only good movie I've ever seen from Uwe Boll. Maybe because it wasn't based on a video game, not sure, but he needs to make more movies of this quality standard.

Severance is one I own on DVD and is a lot of fun. Good to hear you dug it. It has a good mix of comedy and horror, with out going so over the top like DogHouse which was a huge let down.

I really, really enjoyed Severance. It's a very fun film and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it yourself. I really need to give that one a rewatch.

So I watched The Collector. I really enjoyed this one. Although I have no idea what The Collector was collecting and why he was collecting it. Clausterphopic with good pace and nice suspence. Had some great gore pieces too. 7.5/10

I've only seen The Collector and Severance from that list and gave both a 6/10. Severance, while it started out brilliantly and featured a great lead in Laura Harris, was too slapstick with the comedy a lot of the time. When the comedy is more subtle - it works. The Collector, again, started out great with that really intense sequence, but it got a bit ridiculous as it went on. I'd still happily sit through both again and am glad you enjoyed both.

Foursome?

That is the only good one out of that list. Because the rest just sound shitty.

Watched Rampage last night. All I can say is wow. It's like someone gave Uwe Boll a fuckload of pyro and squibs and said "make a movie". He did, and what a brutal assult it was. After I was able to get through 20 mins of the most ATROCIOUS dialogue I think I have ever heard, this movie really kicked my ass. One of the most violent movies I think I have ever seen. Get through the dialogue, and it's an awesome ride.
7/10

Oh yeah, I forgot about the cinematography. Do all of his movies look like Michael J. Fox shot them? It's called a steadicam asshole!!!
