Confirmed, Taylor Lautner and Gus Van Sant are working together!

Some days before I was posting a thread about a rumour of Taylor Lautner working with this Gus Van Sant. Now it's confirmed, his name is appearing in the opening of his new film!!

Is anyone else excited about this? Because I'm not.

I am! Although I can not stand Taylor Lautner I really love almost all Gus Van Sant's films. I think that this opening seems great!

I noticed!

Heh, I'm not a big Van Sant fan - Nor Lautner fan. But my guess is that Lautner's going to be the new Tom Cruise. The acting will improve over the years, all the women love him and all the men think he's gay. (I think he admitted to swinging both ways anyhow, at some point). Yeah, your typical A-List Hollywood Star basically.

His starring vehicle bombed and I think he's flat as fuck and very dull.

I like quite a bit of Van Sant's work, though.

Fair enough. But that doesn't mean he's going away anytime soon. Plenty of a-list movie stars have flops in the beginning (hell, in the middle and end) of their careers. Doesn't take away from his general appeal to movie studios & film makers, etc.

He's a name, he's known and he's good looking. He's set for life as far as employment and being known is concerned.

Yes, I agree. I don't like him but maybe he can get a good role working with Van Sant...

But how known is he really outside of movie forums like this and the Twilight community?
