Need help with an 80's song with whistling in it
I'm pretty sure this song is from the 80's. It just sounds like an 80's song. I'm pretty sure there is whistling toward the end of it. I could be wrong and it's maybe the synthesizers doing those whistles.
I don't remember any lyrics. I just remember the instrumental parts. It would be too difficult to explain that part. This is the best I can do right now, but the closest that the music sounds like is Paul Simon's You Can Call Me Al. Another thing is when I hear this song, it makes me think of the jungle. Any help would be appreciated. ![]() |

Are you sure it's not the Steve Miller song Jungle Love? That's a '70's song but it fits most of the criteria you laid out.

Doubtful it's "Angels In The Centerfold" by J.Geils Band.
"the Stranger" by Billy Joel both starts and ends with whistling. It's a great song; but it's from 1977. |

Finally figured it out.
It's Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root. I just heard it on the Enterprise Rent A Car commercial and immediately looked it up. I just assumed it was an 80's song because of how it sounded. |
