I would have been fine with either one winning but I was pleased with the result. Yes, Jessica has a hell of a voice, but she was also inconsistent. Phillip was more consistent.
Of course, my favorite of the season is still Elise. But Phillip is a perfectly fine winner. Not one of my favorites (David Cook, Carrie Underwood) but certainly not among the worst (Fantasia, Ruben) either. Heck, if I were to rank all of the winners, Phillip would definitely near the top.

She was inconsistent the way the people on Masterchef sometimes screw up a recipe. Phillip was consistent the way you always know what a Big Mac will taste like.
